I am just south of Glasgow warm & cosy at work but live 10 miles away just off M74. I just spoke to a guy in Transport Scotland ( They are one of our clients ) and he said it will peak early afternoon. Seems a little brighter at the moment but try Traffic Scotland for updates. J0

Absolutely horrible here. So dark you cant read without a light on, torrential rain battering the windows, wind starting to get that hiss & howl about it. I wish I could shut my curtains they dont meet int he middle. Plus I'm too nosy and would just keep opening them..
"Homes had to be evacuated and a road was closed after a turbine had problems with gusts of wind in the Borders. The incident happened near Coldingham in Berwickshire" from the BBC Scotland0 -
