Hugs to those who are sick or looking after sick Little ones.
Stayed on here far too late last night and am slow this morning. Plan is to tackle the whole house today as kids are away for weekend and it would be nice to enjoy a clean house that will stay that way for a couple of days.
Hope everyone has a fab Friday

Ive spoken with DD teacher, she said she will nip it in the butt! She doesnt want her personality/learning to suffer, as she is very bright and a pleasure to have in class!
DS school is open, so off to work for me!
OH just sent a text to say he gets lonely when Im on the pc, I said I know how he feels, as Im lost for things to do when he constantly watches football at the wk ends. "whats good for one, is good for the other", but some changes will about to me made - me thinks!
Right, best get ready for work
Catch you later - Have a good day

Big Hugs to Miss Moggins and her mum and dad.
AgeandJo thinking of you today.
Big Hugs to anybody else who needs them.
Washing machine is about to finish with its first load, this happens to be DD's comfort toys, piglet and a white cat so I need to get them dried before she realises.
Plan for the rest of the day is washing, cleaning and general tidying.
Have to go DD just realised whats in the washerSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning everyone

(((moggins and DD))) I am glad the hospital are taking it seriously but what a shock it must be for you
Seroxat Chick - I have just seen your photo on the who's who and you look so happy and healthy (you certainly put me to shame!). I hope everything goes okay for you.
Well I slept and slept last night. DD is out if nappies at night but has to take a bottle of water to bed ( ) so is waking up for the loo a couple of times a night but last night it was only once. I had 9 1/2 hours sleep which is almost a record for me and much needed, but did mean I was shovelling toast down the kids throat as we were heading out the door for school (bad mummy, bad mummy ) as we were late.
OH has been away the last few days and I can't wait to see him as can the children. He worked late last night so he can come home early tonight. I'm afraid meal planning is going out the window and I have in the freezer a takeaway in a box from the supermarket for dinner. My bathroom/toilet too need cleaning and a general tidy round are needed other tha that it is a trip to the park on the cards as it is so fresh around here.
Have a lovely day

Moggins,I'm going to be really careful today and if I get any more of a rash, I'm going to ask to go home. As long as I get my time sheet done today and I get at least half a days pay if I go home, I don't care! Luckily I'll be going to see my GP tonight so I'm sure he'll be able to suggest something!
donny-gal, I've not got any cream but have taken some tablets, my OH takes them when he has bad allergy rashes, hayfever etc. I've checked the pack and they don't clash with my meds, but at the same time they don't seem to be working! Am trying to figure out what it might've been that has caused this. So far it could be a wholemeal roll (I've not had the Asda ones before so I tried one yesterday), a candy bracelet (got in a party bag from a party I did last weekend) or a Tesco version of a Twix!
Gosh I am so tired

Morning quick sit down with a cuppa before I get sorted to go to my mums - STILL havent packed and need to go and get my tyres done too.
Pleased your DD is on the mend moggins - what a night for you, I bet you are exhausted now...
crazychik - my OH has recently said similar to me, he says he wants us to watch tv together, but then I don't have a say in what we watch so I think stuff it I may as well be online!!!! Now he's back at work and away during the week again, I shall have to make a bit more effort at weekends, but hope I can be met half way too.
I watched Waterloo Road (taped it and watched later) - it was a bit much for pre watershed wasn't it?? That is awful to hear that people on here have experience of the hate website thing...the net is great but its a worry with your kids especially when they are more techie than you. DS1 goes on MSN and I'd like to think he isn't abusing anyone on there, I keep a bit of control but I know some parents who just leave their kids too it....thats when anything could happen.
OS today is HM pizza...HM by my mummy:D Can't wait to get up there only saw her at new year but I like being fussed over for a few days:D GrannyBroon you know what I mean!!!! It sounds like you are the same with your DD!!!
Best dash now - hope to hijack the pc at mothers....so may meet up with you all at the weekend.:grouphug: for all of you who are feeling under the weather or looking after poorly children.

Morning :hello:
I was released from jury service yesterday afternoon :j so am back in the office  It felt like Friday yesterday so being at work today is a shock to the system!
I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment, I'm knackered all the time - have been for a while. I had nine hours' sleep last night and still feel wiped out. I've been feeling like this for a couple of months now, so I've really been working on been improving my diet quite a lot - lots of fruit and veg, plenty of water, cutting down on alcohol (which I definitely drink too much of) and caffeine (which I don't drink a vast amount of, but it's still a chemical) - so I think I will give it a couple more weeks of healthy eating and early nights and then maybe go to the doc's if I am still feeling wiped out.
I have my own theory - I'm used to running on adrenalin (out every night burning the candle at both ends) and I haven't been doing this lately, so my body doesn't know how to cope!
Annnyway...
I was quite impressed with my self control last night! I didn't have any "home made ready meals" in the house and I really could have murdered a takeaway, but persuaded myself to prepare something from scratch instead. If I'd gone for a takeaway I would have ended up spending about £10, because although I would only have had a special fried noodles or something (£4-ish) and a can of Diet Coke (50p), I would also have had nothing to bring to work with me for lunch today, and would have been tempted by the lunchtime treats of Borough Market
As it is, I did pasta with turkey and veg, and made five portions :T
moggins, glad it sounds like DD is on the mend
natzini, keep an eye on that rash
Sorry to anybody I haven't mentioned who is in need of sympathy - have a ((((hug)))) from me now
Must be off, see you all later
Rzl xx

morning all,
hugs to all those who need them! DS1 off school today cos he jumped off a wall last night and has sprained his ankle quite badly. DS2 in a right strop cos he wanted a day off aswell but i said no! Have hoovered the whole house, cleaned the bathroom and BM is on as we speak. Plan to make some shortbread later and hopefully freeze some before the kids eat it all!
Dinner tonight is HM burgers and HM wediges with coleslaw. Nice and easy. DH and I have been together 18 years today so we are hoping DD (age 16) can be persuaded to go to bed earlier than usual so we can spend some quality time alone. Maybe open a bottle of wine and watch a good film. hope everyone has a good day!0 -
