Morning all! Bit of a late start for me. Children have a *no-uniform day* in aid of Unicef, so DS is searching his wardrobe, and DD is curling her hair.
There's a school disco tonight, to which DS is going. DD and her friends have decided to go to see *Dream Girls* and have a pizza. I'm taking them and they're being brought back by a friend. Going to see if I can get some trainers for DS, and a basket for me to put my cleaning materials in from B&Q.
Off to the butchers so that I can get some steak for a quiet supper for DH and I.
Going to finish making curtains for DD today. I also want to tidy my study, as I need to move some things in there from my spare room so that I can decorate.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning all
Nothing much going on with me again as my knee is playing up something terrible
Also to make matters worse I think there is a problem with the electrics in the house as when I turned on the lights this morning a lightblub shot half way out of it's holder thing and you guess it tripped the lights again
Not sure about OS plans for the weekend as yet as I really need to kick on with my uni stuff so I guess it will be a clean through and some cooking. Oh I need to do some food shopping as well!
Right, I'm off to see what I missed yesterday and this morning so hopefully everyone is OK and as always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed. You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Not really awake as yet, it's 'time of the month' for me and I feel crabby with it too:rolleyes: Not what I needed today of all days. work this morning then the funeral at lunch time which I think is going to be awful (so many young kids attending) no flowers have been sent but donations to the cinnamon trust, they have a web site and I think what a good charity so I will e passing on my donation to the funeral directors.
Need to do some shopping later as we seem to have bare cupboards:eek: Tomorrow is cleaning/MSE organiser day I think:T
Hugs to those who need/want them

Morning Guys
3rd day off w*** with the lurgy - I never used to suffer with colds but lately seem to get a bad one every few monthsThis one has made my neck really ache
I've been trying to do a few things whilst I've been off but poor old OH has been living on toasted sandwiches as I've had the appetite of a gnat :rotfl: I'm going to try and do some ironing today and clean the bathroom.
Hugs to all those in need xxxxxxxxxxxIts nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -
Morning all
Haven't read the rest of yesterday's thread yet but ((((hugs)))) to those who have been upset or are poorly.
Woke up twice during the night kicking the duvet off because I was too warm! That shouldn't be happening in February.I hope we don't pay for this warm weather in the summer.
I suspect DS will get a late afternoon phone call inviting him to the cinema with his mates so I shall get myself organised after work just in case I need to be the taxi service tonight.
Planning on going to Beacon Fell with DD and DS this weekend. We sorely need some fresh air and exercise and the views are spectacular. May need to bribe them with a cup of tea and a cake afterwards though.
Have a fabulous Friday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Good Morning!
Hugs for all the poorly people, both young and old, and for those caring for them.
Forget about the Ballroom Blitz, I'm going to have a bathroom blitz today! Apologies to those young enough to not have a clue what I mean
Also hoping to wash the kitchen floor and go to Aldi for a few bits before hitting Asda tomorrow.
I hope that those of you trying to lose a bit of weight managed to see The Truth About Food last night. I found it fascinating. If you didn't, then just make sure you stock up on low fat dairy products and soup!
Have a fabby day everybody!0 -
