    Morning all

I know it's been said before - but I really can't believe February is here so quickly.

Hugs to all. I've not been on for a couple of days (mum was here and then the phone line was playing up). Moggins I hope you and DD managed to get some sleep.

    Plans for the day -
    go to w***.
Finish meal plan, I always seem to get stuck on what to have on sunday. Dunno why. Work out when I can get to the supermarket.
Cancel meeting on mon pm cos I have to stay in for new tv to be delivered. (DH is paranoid I'll set it up without him and be the first to see it, he keeps mentioning how heavy it'll be and all the things you have to do. Pah!)
    Empty WM in a mo.

Love the idea of a northern meet - unfortunately Sheffield is too south for me. Hope you have fun guys. Don't forget to fill us in on all the goss.

Morning all and hugs to all those who aren't well or who are caring for others

Looks like I'll be off work for another week and then its half term so not back to work until 19th. I'll have so much to catch up on then. Have got so used to being at home it will be hard work keeping up with all my OS ways when working full time. Am going to defrost freezer and batch cook next week so that when I do return I have some ready meals in the freezer for difficult days.
Have also decided I need to be doing more so that when I do return to work my body can cope with a 10 hour constant on the go day. I'm so used to sitting down on here in between doing jobs.
Think I'll take myself to town today for a potter around...maybe visit a few charity shops, poundland, wilko and lakeland.
have a good day...what ever you are doing....bye........
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Morning gang, hope this finds you warm healthy and well. Haven't read all posts yet so love and hugs to all who would like them. Hope you all have a great day. Grannybroon, saw a report about "your" killer whales on last nights news. Hope you managed to get to see them. Cat update. Lucy & Fergal seem much brighter today. phoebe is no worse so fingers crossed, Rupert is still whezing but seems happy his eyes are no worse. Poor Livingstone is really poorly and we will be watching him closely. The downside of having so mant cats on anti biotics is that they react in the same way as some humans..........Without being TOO graphic lets just say we have been VERY usy this morning. DH at off to school ok and I am about to gt some baking done shortly. Will go and have a read and see what everybody is up to today. Have a good on and take care.

THRIFTLADY - glad you enjoyed them they are quite addictive! meant to tell you this before but next time you're playing one of these types of games and get stuck an excellent site is http://www.uhs-hints.com/
it's better than a walkthrough as it only lets you see the clues in steps, so your less likely to read ahead.

    Good morning All

    Hope we are all well

((((hugs)))) to those who will be attending funerals today!

Anniestar - how do you manage to give so many cats their tablets? I struggle with the 3 Iv got! Its hard work! And a chore in itself

Radio didnt mention anything about DS school being open, so Ive sent him anyway, and if its closed he's to wait by the gate for me!

DLB I wander whether if its something in the water ref hubby's & OH's. My OH totally had the face on last night. He wouldn't say what it was, but decided to talk at bedtime! which by then it totally woke me up, so had a restless night sleep again! Im not looking 4ward to later.

Amiee - only know too well ref bullying. My DS has had torments & name calling all his school life due to his facial appearances of having a cleft lip! And now - after DD being at home yesterday, it turns out that all these fake illnesses and avoidance not to go to school, 'cos someone is name calling her. So I think a chat with her teacher is on the books tis morning!

    Well best be off
    Take care for now
    Love as usual
    Emma xxx

P.S Thankyou Grannybroon for your words on who's who thread!

    Good morning everyone,

Moggins big hugs to you and DD i hope she is feeling a little better today and that you manage to fit in some sleep.

So far DW dealt with and kitchen and bathroom cleaned. BM done (on timer), beds made and a quick tidy up and clutter put away

Going to visit a very good friend today who suffers from the dreaded depression like me too so we can have a nice few hours together.

    Good morning all

Our boss took us out yesterday for lunch as a belated Christmas meal. We couldn't arrange a day before Christmas which would suit all of us. the meal was fine, the restaurant was nouveau cuisine which isn't my cup of tea but, hey, someone else was treating us all and I wasn't complaining :D

Later today I am driving my mother round for a doctor's appointment then we will relax at home and have a chat.

Hope everyone has a good day
    :)

Morning all, sorry it's just a quick one and I haven't had time to read all the thread just wanted to say thank you for all the good wishes.

DD was admitted to hospital last night, lovely DH came home from work and went in with her, he said he had already been in bed all day so he'd be a lot more alert than I was and I was to get some sleep. I'm just on my way to walk to the hospital. Thanks again.

edited to say: DH has just phoned! She is being discharged now and they are coming home - all your good vibes must have worked :)

forgot to say hubby got some excellent bargains in asda last night. he came home with 6 chickens for 98p each (could have had more but was worried they wouldn't fit in freezer) and two packs of mince reduced to pennies (can't remember the exact price i was in a flu induced coma when he told me.) really pleased as i was having trouble meal planning as we were running out of meat.

the best laugh i had in ages was last week at asda. they have a challenge 21 policy that if you look under 21 they can ask for id when you buy drink. we we're going through self scan and saw the assisstants looking at us, then they shouted to hubby to turn round. i was facing them and didn't hear what they said. it was only as we were leaving the store hubby worked out why they had asked him to turn round - they must have thought i looked under 21 and were checking he was old enough. the thing is i'm thirty next month lol!
