Wow, a rare post worthy of a 'thanks' and a point and laugh :rotfl:I was just reporting on a story on the BBC - don't shoot the messenger!
I will be spending about £5,000 all in I guess, we are staying in a Hotel for Xmas - then we are in a Forest Lodge for New Year. We shall eat out every day, of course. Presents will cost about £2,000.
It's not at all about money ..... it's just how we like to do things, and how we like it costs a certain amount of money.
None of the money will be borrowed as it will be fully paid from my Xmas bonus.
Xmas could cost a lot more, however - as I have spotted a car I fancy, may buy that as a Xmas gift to myself and pop it in the garage with the other 4.

Chavtastic...No, wrong ... I did not get this wealthy by wasting money ... the tree is an indoor/outdoor tree which can be used throughout the year ... maybe on the terrace, by the pond - if it doesn't scare the ducks!
So, the cost is for years .... amazing value for money.
I could have paid more - but struck a bargain ...

Says it all really. Christmas is all about spending time with friends and family. The fact that you're spending it in a hotel suggests you're lacking in friends and any family willing to put up with you.0 -

Mr Ree, I think I speak for the majority on here when I say
