I've just watched an ad for this online company who claim to re-claim any bank/credit card charges on a no win, no fee basis. Has anyone any experience of this or similar companies?

How can they proceed with claims when I am being told to wait until after the ruling?
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

They can't is the simple answer no matter what they may advertise.

It may be that they had paid for the ad to be aired some time in advance - at the time they may well have been able to get charges back - the same as anyone else, they probably didn't bank on the OFT case.

Hi all this is my first time posting on this board and would like to ask a question about a company that has just telephoned my partner.

The company called reclaim 2 gain have telephoned my partner regarding getting bank charges back. We already have a claim in with Yorkshire Bank that has been going on for 12 months now.

This man said their company can guarantee money back from the banks despite the test case due to a legal loophole that isnt being broadcast by the banks.

He said so far they have got a 100% success rate with getting the charges back and that their legal team deals with the paper work for you.

I wanted to check with anyone off this board first to see if anyone else has heard about them or had any experience with them or are they a scam company?

Their company number is 06219028 and their website address is http://www.reclaim2gain.co.uk/

They are going to ring us back later to see if we want them to take our case on or not so any feedback or advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks for reading!

I'm not aware of any such 'loophole', so I would treat this with claim with extreme sceptisism. If they do call back, I'd be interested to know how they think they will be able to do this.

In my opinion, they will do nothing you can't do yourself. In soem cases they seem to do less. See other stories about reclaim companies who seem to mysteriously go quiet after you've signed up.

Would you trust a company that advertises Easytouchloans as well? Would you trust your personal bank details to someone who cold calls you?

When they phone back ask them how much this is going to cost you :)

The man said it would cost us a one off fee of £39.95 on the telephone, i know a lot of companies are just cashing in one bank charges and i'm starting to think this is one of them as well.
He said because their team can put together legal documents it makes the banks pay up the charges, unlike the template letters on sites such as this.
I don't think we will bother though as nearly £40 is alot of money to us at the minute and cannot afford to lose it!

They are one of them and they can't do anything that isn't already available to you here.

I bet if you asked them for evidence of getting around the stay, they would be able to provide nothing.

As EdiLass says, all the information you need is here. It annoys me that companies intimate or even lie that they have 'loopholes' that no one else can use.
