I took all the mud of myself yes and put it back into the garden yes, there are roses yellow ones and little purples one don't know what they are called, the leaves came over windy today but I have left them there.

I am sorry you have been upset by them but there is nothing that can't be fixed

When I read your OP I thought you had some sort of prize garden that had been ruined - Sorry but it just looks like a few shrubs that need attention anyway

Hope that doesn't sound really rude, just trying to see it from the workmens point of view

    I've been Money Tipped!
victory, can the car on your drive me moved to the road or somewhere where you might feel it is safer?

Honestly, I think the workman was rude, and wrong to use your driveway, and were I your neighbours I would have dropped by or put a note through the door to give advance warning that stuff would be going on...but that's done now. It looks a mess now, but that will change and I personally wouldn't risk having an antagonistic long term relationship with neighbour over the longer term out of something which has been inconviniant, rude but caused no long term damage.

Are you feeling a bit better now? If you can move the car for peace of mind do, then head out and do something nice while out. :)

No the next door neighbours that is the point, vast amounts of mud which I have personally moved off my path, off my plants and they did off their digger bucket I moved myself the cables lying on the mud were along the trail of my plants in amongst them and they took it off when I complained

I see that now, at first I thought that muddy bit was what they had done to your garden with their digger

I thought I'm not surprised your mad about that!!

But there isn't really any damage done to your garden

Maybe they would have got rid of the mud on your plants themselves before they had finished

True it is not a prized garden but it is mine, it flowers beautifully I love it I have spent a lot on it, been given seeds, it looks fab in spring summer I havethe most amazing smelling roses and if it were yours surely you would not want anyone mud or anything to destroy it because it is mine

Fair enough - Its not destroyed though is it?

but victory, the mud hasn't destroyed your plants, neither have the cables. Have they?

Sorry, but another here who can't really see that there's been a massive problem? I certainly can't fathom why you were "incensed" and in hysterics because that cable in the picture strayed onto your wall?

A little careless of the contractor, perhaps, but the plants hardly look like delicate things and I certainly wouldn't be getting myself worked up about it.

For all you know, he might've knocked on your door when he arrived to inform you that they were doing some work, but you said yourself you were out.

Having said that, the contractor had no reason to speak to you like that, assuming that you only made a polite request (even if he thought you were being awkward). However, if you launched yourself at him in a rage then I can maybe sympathise a little with his reaction..

The cable has bent the mini tree at the front of the photo, I guess it will come good no worries, it is back to what it was thanks to me and thanks to them

oh victory sorry but that made me :rotfl::rotfl:. I have male relatives who swear like breathing, I'm convinced they don't even know they are doing it. 2 of them are successful car mechanics and believe me, they don't mince their words!

No I did ask him had he knocked for me and he said no he was doing the neighbours path and it was nothing to do with me, he did not need to knock and tell me anything
