I'm not surprised, poor you. Nearly there, Christmas is just around the corner. Will you be able to have a nice rest on the day, or do you have to cook? x
  • Hello.. Well I have put a pound on in weight to tonight but I'm hoping it's just that I was wearing jeans as going straight out so I'm guessing it's More like a maintain.

Hello nomorespending. This is my first posting so I hope everything works well! Just wanted to say really 'well done' on your achievements. I too am overweight and am trying to walk as much as possible in order to keep the weight off but it is very difficult especially with crisps being in our house at Christmas! I've tried to leave things like crisps, coke etc. off the shopping list and it really made a difference to the overall bill. I started off with 12.5k debt caused by too many holidays and being made redundant and am now just over 4k but it has taken so long to pay off the debt. Keep going - you are doing really well. Look forward to reading your further entries on the forum.:j

Hurrah! Well, you enjoy yourself and have a lovely Christmas - you've earned it!! :)
  • The occsional dinner with a friend is one of life's luxuries, no reason to feel guilt about that :)

I'm just cleaning the house for Christmas too. We're aren't here for the holidays, but it's lovely to return to a clean house after a few days away!

  • Have had a very lovely today with my family haven't gone overboard with food so thats good - will need to be very careful the next few days with my eating as I don't want to have put on again on Wednesday. My scales have packed in ( think its just the battery) so can't keep track easily myself.

Ok thinking of targets now to get the debt busting up and running and quick quick quick . So I have cleared my RBS card and this has meant that I will be a bit into my overdraft on the 1st Jan I think but I don't think it will be by much - I'll work it out and see if i can shuffle money and stay within it.

On 15th Jan i'm going to pay off the tesco card in full and in Feb March and april I will clear my sainsburys card. .. that's my target!!

I'm going to do some serious planning around car sharing with my Oh and see how much we can save in Jan.
Also going to go for some serious eating out of the freezer in January..
    next week:
    Jacket pot and beans ,
syn free sausage mash and veg..( I have loads of sausages in the freezer)
I have fish in the freezer - so fish and veg another day
Need to get some tinned tomatoes so I can make spag bol as I have mince in the freezer.
