Using the 'calculator' to see how much it's worth to you, it says 29.99. From rac web site that'll make it roadside(basic package)..

Regularsaver1 will probably come along and correct mebut I read somewhere that you may be able 'to pay the difference' for the higher coverage...

snap - yes you can.
you get a welcome pack with all policy documents, featues ect
there is one telephone number for RAC and then one for the others
You do not get a RAC policy number. It is your card. You would quote your sort code and account number, and then show your card when person arrives0 -
but I can't type - I always mis-spell
have to always go back and edit my spelling mistakes0 -

The above link explains the figures they used for the calculator and a little bit more about the account
"The value of the RAC Breakdown Cover is based on the fee charged by the RAC for the same cover for one year – see https://www.rac.co.uk/web/breakdown-cover/uk/ for details."0 -
can i get 'copy' of the full T's&C's to the holiday insurance from a branch? My current policy is great on the delays front(I.e. pays out £x after a 4hours delay,£y after 8hours..) i see from the web site it upto £250??
Also with the card protection, to 'quote' a web site of one of the providers i know:CPP wrote:You’re covered before AND after you
notify us.
With most banks, you’re only covered for fraud after you alert them and you will generally be liable to pay the first £50 of any claim, per card. In this way Card Protection pays for itself many times over, we’ll give you generous cover before and after you call0 -
Its all in the welcome pack
branches have been sent ones (not enough in my opinion), but if unavailable they can print PDF ones off
so yes you can
found this policy summary for Halfax travel Insurance -
https://insurance.halifax-online.co.uk/travelinsurance/PrinterFriendlyPolicySummaryDocument.asp?Pol=MT
EDIT - thought it might be the same but know that with the URCA (the new account) the maximum duration of trip is 31 days, but this link is for 60 days0 -
One of the lowest charging current accounts with 'extras' - but unless you were going to take out every single 'extra' product anyway, you could just about buy those products seperately for the £120 a year you pay.0

not really stphnstevey
phone insurance can be £7.99 a month - nearly £100 a year
home emergency can be £4 a month
and then overdraft
and more expensively family travel insurance0 -
thumshie wrote:But it only mentions 'joint' cover on RAC..
What about :
1. Mobile Phone.
2. Card Care.
3. Travellers Cheque Card( one each?)
4. Home emergency cover(If a joint account can have individuals living at two different addresses???)
Does the holiday insurance cover you if your away on business? from the insurance section on the web site it looks like, it....
found out today that the home emergency is at those addresses on the account - so 2 properties can be covered if joint
EDIT- Home emergency is £4.17 a month on Halifax home insurance0
