good thing about hbos is they do a lot of the insurance in house so its cheaper for them to run:santa2:0

Yeah everything bar the Home Emergency and the RAC will be provided by HBOS - by St Andrews group
one line to claim for all0 -

I used to have worldwide travel insurance - was £66 a year
had mobile phone insurance - was £7.99 a month - £96 a year
I used over draft - by say £200
Home emergeny on my home insurance was £4 a month alone - £48
so over £220 ish
and did not 6.17% AER
so you can saver - but the benefits won't suit everyone. which is why they are keeping the High Interest at same interest rate0 -
which is why it will suit some and no others
and why they still have their other 3 current accounts too0 -
I will be getting it for the interest and id insurance also the mobile phone insurance. Seems similar to the benefits of the TSB premier account for £25 which my gf has so she might take it up too heh.0

Mobile phones are covered on some home insurance (mine covers up to £250 under personal possessions), travel insurance is available free on some accounts (mine comes with A&L) and identity theft protection is available through CPP at £4.99 a month or £59.99 a year (think I got a discount though due to my current account). By using the boards on here for home and car insurance would you buy through the halifax or manage to get cover at the same price from elsewhere? and what happens on renewal, does your premium go up and you feel obliged to stay because you're paying for the current account.
Not saying its not worth it, it will be to some, more thinking aloud!!0
