Obviously an account for everyone, but the benifits and freebies look better than any other paid bank account.

a little bit of info:
"The Halifax Ultimate Reward account offers interest of at least five per cent on positive balances, a £250 interest-free overdraft, free travel insurance, roadside assistance, mobile phone insurance, card protection, and cash bonuses on mortgages and loans.
For these - and other included benefits - account holders are charged £10 a month. "
Just wanting to know public reception of this account from my HBoS employee point of view0 -
Generally can get the bits you need cheaper than the package deal.0

Extra 1% savings interest on some of their accounts

How so Tom?
I used to have worldwide travel insurance - was £66 a year
had mobile phone insurance - was £7.99 a month - £96 a year
I used over draft - by say £200
Home emergeny on my home insurance was £4 a month alone - £48
so over £220 ish
and did not 6.17% AER
so you can saver - but the benefits won't suit everyone. which is why they are keeping the High Interest at same interest rate0 -
barclays are doing it for £7.25, dont get the interest tho0
-
and no travel insurance with theirs>?0
-
I like it, does anyone know if you have to put £200 onto the axem card before they send you it or does it come automatically?:santa2:0

to activate benefits, some activate on their own, others you call for with your welcome pack0
