Thank you guys and merry Christmas to you all!

Had a lovely afternoon and evening - met the guys from the football mid afternoon, and did a couple of pubs in town - then I went to a gig with another friend.....was a SUPERB tribute band to The Cure -took me right back it did! The support act were brilliant too, which was a real bonus. Then back into town to meet some of the original crew for a curry before grabbing a cab home.

And all within budget - even better.

Today I've a couple of last minute bits to get, and to do, but otherwise should be relaxed - my friends are arriving late afternoon until boxing day, and there will be one or two others popping in along the way which will be lovely. The children will come home tomorrow.

So, may I take this opportunity to say Happy Christmas to you all - thank you for your company this year, and I hope Santa has you on the appropriate Naughty or Nice list.......

Thanks Taxi - I am looking forward to 2012 and am sure you are too! Yesterday was lovely - not too mad, but just mad enough - managed to see plenty of people. In fact, the theme of this Christmas really has been/will be Friends, rather than Family. Which really is most appropriate as they are the people who have seen me through this year or so, good bad and downright ugly (the events of the year, NOT the friends, lol!!).

Am proud of myself, too Taxi, that is for sure!

I think a lot of us on here have come further this year than in previous years one way or another. :)

I totally agree.I think the debt lets us hide in a bubble and we are busy concentrating on that and lose sight of who we are.It took a big wake up call for me to realise that about myself and my outlook is now completely different..scary but exciting at the same time.

Merry Christmas Hypno. I just spotted the second quote on your signature and it made me smile..... Here's to 2012 being completely out of your comfort zone.
