Neighbour finds our christmas lights "annoying"...

  • To me putting the kids first included teaching them tolerance and respect for others.

I think so too: Respect is earned.

Good to avoid conflict because it is counterproductive with all.

Disputes cost and in the particulars of a sale of property, it does not look good. Which is why some people move out before things get really difficult.

  • I totally don't see the point of bed cushions. You get them in some hotels, too, and the only thing you can do with them is dump them on the floor overnight.

They're handy for chucking at the blasted cats when they decide to have a territorial dispute over the bottom right corner of the bed at 3am.

Are you allowed to do that with annoying neighbours?

I'd never complain to people about their decorations, but I have always thought outside decorations are really tacky.

In fact in the past my ex and I used to drive around one area that was prone to it for a laugh at this time of year. Deciding which one was the most tacky was always a difficult choice.

And you think that reflects on them?

    Happy moneysaving all.
