Am so pleased and relieved today, had my medical last monday (12th march) and received a letter today to say that my benefit is continuing as I satisfied the requirements of the medical/PCA etc. I am now not up for review until September 2008

It certainly is a relief. I saw the brown envelope in the post and opened it slowly knowing full well the result would be in there, though do I really want to know this?! Then read the pages and found had passed, was so relieved!

Its either the area i live in or there is maybe something wrong with my claim as i still haven't found out the income of my medical and i had the medical on the 28th of february. Everyone i speak to and on here seems to be getting their outcome pretty quick. I telephoned the dwp and asked if maybe my letter had gone missing and they just informed me that the papers from my medical was received in their office on the 6th of march and a letter would be sent out in due course so i am no further forward:mad:

It can take 3 or 4 weeks and I have heard of longer than that, but I am sure they will write sooner or later.
