LloydsTSB PPI Payment

My letter was the 16th September I thought I would have had my cash by mid October!! I've still never recieved a response from the FOS about my complaint either??
I am not a patient person at the best of times but this is now starting to occupy my every thought!!0 -
Well just made my weekly phonecall to hassle LLoyds TSB and ask where my revised letter was. I was assured that the revised letter had been sent out to everyone at the end of last week via SECOND CLASS post (joke??). She went on to say that if we have not received the letter by Friday to let them know as they would re-issue it. She went on to say that they are treating these payments as a priority.
She then tried to defend the delay by going on about the backlog so I pointed out that if I was busy at work and hadn't paid my credit card bill Lloyds wouldn't accept that as an excuse so why should I accept it from then, I got complete agreement from the lady!
So the wait goes on.........0 -
Got my acceptance letter for a loan, closed a few years ago, on the 8th of August with interest until the 8th of September. Heard nothing else from Lloyds until today... New letter apologising for delay and re-calculating interest to 28th of November (an extra £51). Hopefully will get it before Christmas.;)0

Good news indeed!
Happy to see some progress happening with peoples payments.
Hurry up with mine Lloyds TSB! ( The. Slow. Bank )0 -
Ok just off the phone, is that a record? gotta love the 01733 number
Anyway, the bloke said to me "Have you not received your refund?" .... why else would I be phoning?
Then he said "Do you have a Lloyds TSB account?" ... unfortunately I still do, but only until they pay me.
Then he said that all refunds for people with active Lloyds TSB accounts are going directly into the Lloyds TSB accounts by BACs. This was after he asked me if I was being paid by cheque. I'm meant to be being paid straight into my HSBC account, that was the whole reason for being put to the back of the queue in August when I called them then.
Then I asked him if he could tell me for certain how I would be paid, he said no. I asked if it was definitely going into my Lloyds account, he says no. So basically they have no idea how they're paying me, but there hasn't been any progress with my refund.
Oh but I will be getting an apology letter in the post along with recalculations. Whoopdee whoopy doo. *sigh*SPC = £15.54 #1413
