I also called Lloyds this afternoon and was told that my letters were sent out on Thursday of last week and will be with me by the end of this week; I will be paid by BACS within the next two/three weeks, but definitely by the end of the month. So fingers crossed, I hope my money will be with me soon.0

My offer letters were dated 22nd September and the interest was calculated up to 19th October. The letters were based on several old loans and one current loan.0

I really hope you get paid and Lloyds have their act together but cant help feeling that when Lloyds quote these times and dates they are just buying time. Their guess is that you wont bother getting back to them now for another 3 weeks so you're off their case and that is all they care about.
My calculation letter was dated 8 Sept and I have no further correspondence from them and no sign of my money either.
If Lloyds are treating each case in date order, logically I should get my cash about 2 weeks before you do, but there are people on here who have been waiting months longer than me so three weeks sounds optomistic.Money Saving IQ 142 - Does that mean I am tight?0 -
Iv been waiting since the 8th September. I think there just buying time to. If the letters thing is ture I should get it by tomorrow or Wednessday. Has anyone seen any post by people who have been waiting long for payment that have been payed in the last 10 days?0

Hi
This is my first post but I have been following this thread with interest. I put in ppi claims for two loans and my credit card in July. On the Thursday just gone (sixteen weeks to the day) I received an upheld letter for the loans, which also took into account my current loan, for over £5000 and an upheld letter for my cc for over £3000. The loan ppi will be paid by cheque and the loan by bacs as the earliest opportunity.
I checked my bank account today and the bacs payment had gone in (I have now paid off the cc rather sooner than expected) but I was expecting to wait weeks. I don't understand how I can receive one payment in a matter of days when some people who claimed before me are still waiting.
However, I still have to wait for the cheque!0 -
Help?? Just checked online banking and my loan balance has massively decreased and the payment lowered so looks like the live loan has been readjusted to reflect no PPI, however I thought the money would come to me not off my loan?? Has anyone else had this and are we getting the money to us, I don't want it to come off my loan?? Has this happened to anyone else and what have Lloyds said????0

Hi Paula - dont worry. I had the same thing yesterday. I have spoken with lloyds - the ppi team refund all monies for missold ppi to your loan account. so that includes the monies you have already paid and monies you are due to pay for the remainder of the term. Once thats done, its handed over to the loan restructuring team - they arrange for your refund (the amount from your letter) and work out how much the balance on your loan is.
The very nice lady told me yesterday I should hopefully have my redress in my bank account this week. however they only pay the refund of premium via bacs - the interest is sent out via cheque
Hope that helps!0
