  • My calculations letter was sent the 8th September with the intrest calculated upto the 5th October. We have called and called and called, sent email after email and no one if giving us an awnser. The loan was paid off 5 years ago. Getting really frustrated now!
  • Hey supacute127

That happened to me my loan was reduced but haven't had any PPI on that one as it's a new loan still waiting letter for new recalculation so let's hope everything is resolved by end of month
  • dilus i agree totally on a different planet. Has anyone with a loan ppi claim actually received any money yet i am satarting to think that there is something very fishy going on and we will never get our money do these people not realise that this money is legally ours

Hi I've had a 3rd of my money paid but i'm still waiting on £3.5 k from them....
  • What does seem to be quite interesting is the fact that everyone who is phoning Lloyds is reporting back the same story. Could it be that it is actually true ? Will we all be paid by the end of the month ? Please, please, please let it be true. A mega Christmas for us if it is:santa2:

  • Hi all,
My partner has also been waiting since early September to be paid out having had the calculation letter since then, again it's an existing loan that's still running which we've been waiting to get restructured.

After checking Lloyds online banking this morning it would appear that something has happened to the loan, the monthly payment has gone down from £190pm to £140pm and the balance is showing -£1220, yet it still sayd it has PPI on there!!
Whilst it's great that there's finally been some movement over the weekend it's a little confusing that the balance is now showing a minus sum, the loan is not in arrears so it was our understanding that the monies would be paid to us and not the loan balance.

Has anyone else seen this happen on their loans?

Just checked my online account and yes it looks at long last as if something might be happenning.

Like many I have an active loan (ends next month!) with PPI on it.

Can't remember exact dates (and not a home to check paperwork) but received confimation that my complaint was upheld towards end of August and letter with the figures mid Sept at latest.

My monthly loan repayment has now had the PPI removed and the balance is no longer negative so it looks like the money due has been applied to the loan. Hopefully won't take long for the credit to hit my current account and fingers crossed those of you still waiting will see similar happen to you in the next few days!

I really hope so too as i have 2 kids and need the money now lol
  • I have just spoken to LLoyds TSB and have been informed that ltrs were sent on Sat with an increase to my loan due to interest for the period of time I've waited. I have been told that they now have more staff dealing with these payments and that monies will be paid in the next 2-3 wks due to my Ltr being dated Aug, I should received my money by the end of this wk beginning of next if not then I'm to call again. Do I believe them NO:mad: another delay tactic me thinks.

Ive also just spoken with them. Apparently, the ppi team apply all the money against the outstanding loan. It then goes off to the loan department who arrange for the refund to be added (and returned to us) and restructure the loan.

I should have my redress in my bank by the end of the week (no news on whether any extra interest has been added though)
