I haven't had to sign any acceptance letter was just to to ring a number if I don't accept the offer!

    Hi

It looks like they are dealing with these different now then, saying that mine was months ago, so maybe this new way is the quicker way of them trying to get complaints dealt with.

I do though have another 2 ongoing with them, so I expect it maybe the same way as they are dealing with yours if i'm successful.;)

  • I received an offer the other day and had to sign an acceptance letter. Says a maximum of 21 days after they receive my returned acceptance letter.
  • Did you have an actual offer with yours annmariec ?

I had an offer letter, but no actual amounts included, just the examples. I have to return the signed acceptance and they send me the calculations. Mind you, I sent a signed acceptance back last week and they sent me another one today - same letter as the first one ! Neither have mentioned timescales.

  • Miss_Marple,

Exactly my experience - which is what I was going to put up a thread about. Had a letter not stating an amount but asking for signature - signed it and week later receive the same letter (thought it was the letter giving an amount). Tried phoning but can never get through.

    Any ideas from anyone else?
  • I had all of the £5400 paid into my business accout this afternon. LTSB letter dated 28/8 - wrote back told them I wanted full figures before accepting and they rang back on the deadline day plus agree another £1300 on my current account same day. One more claim to go through in 12 weeks!

  • Hi, I had a letter at the start of august saying they would pay it back, I rang up to accept, and they said 21 working days. It's now way over that but they said they've got a right back log. They said they were only just on the letters dated for the start of August this week. So blooming annoying, its my money and I want it back!
