It's Magic Wednesday! :j
After a long hard battle I could not believe my eyes when I saw the money in the bank this morning. I hope everybody else on here has had the same success today and if not it will be your turn very soon!
Thank you all for letting me have a good rant about this over the last few weeks. It's a fantastic support network.
I will have to find something new to stress about now! :rotfl:0 -

No magic Wednesday for me either.0

Was hoping for a magic Wednesday - alas nothing.
Its now getting somewhat dull the continued deflation from Lloyds lack of action...
55 working days since offer letter.
An absolute disgrace.0 -
I wasn't expecting a magic wednesday or anything due to the continued lack of a recalculations letter.
MP hasn't replied yet, message was CC to A.B , I.H (email addresses been closed/full now), PPI customare care and the acting CEO.Some money (about £10K) came through at the end of November.
Still waiting for the other £20KThat is a ridiculous amount of money.

I think we should organise a protest at the Lloyds PPI hq and take a day off work and get down there before xmas and notify the national and local press that we're doing it. It's getting ridiculous the amount of time it's taking them to pay out!!0

first time i've phoned them, I've hung on the phone for 10 mins so far...
now hung on for 20 mins, no answer, just the repeated msg...
at 22 mins they answered
Spoke to a polite individual... Same as has been said before, no time scales etc etc and will esculate since its been so long. I asked what would be a reasonable timescale to wait for the bank to pay or other action should be considered in recovery of the outstanding. They said, it is likely the payment would have to be recalculated and a new offer letter sent. I'm bemused and concerned by the processes they have between calulation and processing since there appears to be a void. any recalculation wouldn't address that issues and would prefer if payment of the offer is made and any oustanding interest can be dealt with at a later date. I also asked how many refunds they were processing a day, they avoided answering the question and said they would esculate the refund. They asked if the PPI had an outstanding loan and suggested it could have been part of those claims that got held up. I informed they there was no oustanding loan, that the offer can as part of the new structure of letters that provided the refund amount with the letter, I can't understand why the caculated refund remained in the void, when at worst it was a simple 30 second proccess to add the refund to a pay run. They are aware of issues...
In conclusion, i'm none the wiser. I suspect the running of payments is being tightly controlled as a volume per day and or total refund. Perhaps a rebranding "c*** up and Co".....0 -
