Well still no payment for me!

Constantly fobbed off on the phone, no reply to any email even though I have emailed 30+ times. I also don't have an open loan account and it has been paid off since 2007, I was told today that I have not even had my interest recalculated! My uphold letter was early June, offer letter with calculation 1st September but NOTHING SINCE THEN:mad::mad::mad:
I am all ready for xmas but would just like to know that the money is in the bank, and could go shopping for some bargains in January :D!

How many of us are still waiting since before the 1st September or before for payment? I fear not many!

My offer letter was 8th Setpember and still no recalc letter nor payment so not long after yours.:(:(
  • Wow! It's magic Saturday - about time!

The postman has just delivered our cheque, which we weren't expecting as they had told us they would be paying it in to our account.

Our offer letter was dated 20th September. Although I have to say that my partner refused to get off the telephone line last week, until he had spoke to a Manager. He then gave her piece of his mind and wouldn't leave the phone until she had told him that she would call him straight back once she had spoke to the payment department about our account. Which in all fairness she did, she told us that it would be with us within 14 days and thank god it was!

I have my fingers crossed from you all, and I will still be following this up with a complaint letter, they still also owe us the accrued interest caused by the delay, but one step at a time!

    Good luck everyone!

Can i ask what number you called? Well done by the way.

This is just beyond a joke I can hardly type for fury. Phoned thursday and was advised that was on a special priority to be paid into the bank on Friday. No money bet you are all surprised, phoned again on Friday and was told was on a special CHUPS sheet what is that does anybody know? and that the money was getting paid in guess what no money. Went to local branch on Saturday and asked if there was any transactions pending she was as helpful as they are you know the word I want to say and said oh we only work in real time and can not see anything.

Roll on Monday and the fight begins again I think an email to the Mp is going to be happening as well:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I think they must mean CHAPS which are instant payments (during banking hours!!) costing the originator £12 each.
