Funny that isn't it. After originally saying I wouldn't go down that route I've now changed my mind.

For those that went to their MP, did you write to them or email them? Did you just give an outline of your story and then give the infamous A.B**ry's postal address? Has anyone got it to hand?

I sent a email to my MP with my story and gave him A.Barry name(no address). I received a letter back within a week saying he has been in touch with them on my behalf. I also sent a email to LTSB explaining that i had gone to my MP.

I was just gathering some intel for my MP and saw a comment on the Daily Mail story where someone had been told they would not get paid without the recalcs letter; the one we've not even had and not one single person on the phone has mentioned it for about a month now. Just makes me mad to think we're so far from payment, there's plenty of people with the re-calcs letter and no money so in theory we're further back than them!!!!!!!:mad::mad:

no iv never heard that one....anyone else heard you dont paid without your recalc letter?
i honestly dont think it matters....iv had 2 recalc letters and still no payment. im seriously considering contacting my MP now as there really does seem to be a pattern emerging for those who have an MP backing. GGGRRRRRRRR LTSB!!
  • Has anyone had a complaint that involves an open loan settled yet?

The problem seems to be juggling the re-payment of the premiums and interest, the re-structuting of the loan amount due and the re-structuring of the monthly payment due, all which seemingly have to be done at the same time.

That's the position I'm in (and still paying my PPI) and I wondered whether anyone in the same position has actually been sorted out???

good question! this is the position im in too, i keep checking with the loans dept also and still no change, iv paid the ppi for 4 months since they have admitted mis selling. it just does not make sense to me any of it!

Me too. I am paying £153 per month on PPI alone and come the third week in December I will have paid out 5 months worth since my complaint was upheld in August. That will be £765 that I should not have paid!!!!

That has to be a breach of contract by LTSB if not something worse.

    No.

There is a current Lloyds loan, but it has never had PPI attached.

The really stupid thing about this wait is that the money will be going straight to pay that loan off for a start!
