    No nothing !!!!!!!!!!!

You have my sympathies, it is (effectively) over for me but if you are waiting for an apology or even a letter of explanation, it is not coming.

It is not that they don't appear to care THEY DON'T CARE the culture of the firm (and all banks to an extent) is such that if you don't make money for them you are not worth a damn.

I got my money eventually after 6 months of complaining but there was not one word of apology and all my additional emails asking why there was a delay were simply ignored.

According to the Guardian this weekend Lloyds scored the industry average for customer service in a recent survey, meaning they are actually quite good compared to their industry peers. A damning indictment of the industry I am sure you will agree.

But how can that be? I'll tell you how, Lloyds customer service and complaints statistics are a work of fiction, that's how.

Every expression of disatisfaction must be logged, investigated and responded to in accordance with FSA regulations. Do peple on this site think this is happening? Do you think they care? I think they will carry on getting away with whatever they can until the industry regulator provides an incentive to stop.

Mum has critical heart operation next week in London and I will have to borrow money to travel from North Wales to stay in London as she is elderly and frail.

I am so mad when Lloyds owe me money and I have no outstanding loans with them.

He said sorry for the delays, not for selling you a crap product which was extortionately priced and designed to never pay out.

You had to hound them to get even that much.

Sorry costs nothing, which is good because that is about all Lloyds have to offer.

Hope your cash actually comes through this week.

I wasn't saying it in a "woohoo I got an apology" way.
I very much doubt his apology was genuine anyway.
So was just posting as a bit of sarcasm really =)

I phoned up the day before and the lady escalated it to a manager who then escalated it to a refund payment pending spreadsheet manager, who escalated me to the very top of the spreadsheet.

All Ian did was look at the case and report back to me. So it had already been actioned that I would be in the batch to run "tomorrow" and as it's BACs it takes 3 working days to hit my HSBC

Thanks, I got that you were being sarcastic.

You have, after all, been an inspirational source of gallows humour for the last few weeks on this thread. ;)
