That's not really relevant. You are just a liable if you record and watch later.
And what does menstruation have to do with it?There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
People who have to pay a licence fee and claim never to watch BBC are in the same boat as those who have to pay for schools and don't have children.
OMG how many times have I heard that one before, its straight from the BBC pitch book, iain.
Yes lets show everyone how desperate the BBC can get by trying to compare a broadcaster with essential public services :rotfl:
I can be honest enough to say I don't watch your BBC as I choose not to have Sky or Cable, the fact is though Sky and cable don't insist that everyone pays them unlike the BBC.
I can't see Sky and Cable having people desperate enough to compare them to public services either0 -

I don't know what in my politely expressed and reasonable post gave you the idea that it was ok to respond so aggressively, but I think the nature of your reaction says more about you than it does about the innocuous comment you responded to.
Oh nice, someone tells you how upset they are that you expect everyone to subsidise Eastenders for you and you call them aggressive. You know one could say the same thingBut, I will respond politely and reasonably, yes I do feel the BBC is a worthwhile public good and it is fair and right that we all pay for it.
While millions of people are forced into subsidising the subcription fee's for you0 -
So you obviously think the licence fee just subsidises the BBC, who do you think pays for all the maintenance of the transmitters both television and radio without which there would be no terrestrial television.
Sorry to tell you this but the transmitters are not owned by the BBC, not now anyway. Not everyone either wants or can afford to pay Murdoch's extortionate fees for TV broadcasts.
Ah the "Murdoch" pitch, yes well thats saying you want everyone forced to fund the BBC rather than giving them a choice which is a bit communist.
Oh and Murdoch doesn't own any TV stations here, he tried.
The truth is if the BBC TV Licence was scrapped today people would be able to watch the true Free To Air channels without being threatened by the BBC0 -

...or they don't have a TV....
If that is the case, they would say so.
Unless, again, they are trying to make some kind of obscure point.
I've heard several people say they have no TV. If that is the case the matter is entirely cut and dried. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
