ok, in true money saving style i have an idea, but need some help from anyone with local knowledge of Newcastle. I see on the multimap website that there is a metro that runs to the airport. So could i park in a nearby residential street and jump on the metro to save me paying £30 for parking?
Alternatively, are there any private homes nearby who rent a space on their drive and give transfers to the airport.

no one you call in a favour to take you to the airport.
It would be a good idea to start a money saving scheme on here for house parking. If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

What a cheek, i can totally understand why they need to be cautious but surely a sealed bottle of water can be allowed.
I tend to save all the perfume sample strips and little sachets of gel and shampoo from mags especially to take on holiday, so should manage to keep that under 100ml.
Mmmm i wonder if we should book an airport lounge then to cover drinks and snacks before the flight.0 -
If you have an egg card you get 50% back from the lounges...lol

You can still take all your freebie shampoos etc just they have to go in your case in the hold."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0
