I also would like to thank everybody for there help on this thread, we had a fantastic break, the weather was lovely, i was half expecting to bump into a money saver but didnt, we stayed at the galeon playa and considering what we paid we had no complaints at all, the location was perfect, thanks again everyone.

I think a week in singapore may be a bit too long.
I did 3 or 4days and that was enough.

Id love to go the cook islands and anywhere in the pacific

Hi Frisbee,

we were at the galeon also. We had a lovely week and some lovely meals. Did you go on the free trip with Thomsons?

we stayed at the Galeon playa. Had a fab time. 5 mins from beach, beautiful weather, almost forgot it was February.The meals on the plane were a nice surprise. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Thanks for the great tip.We were on a tight budget and found lots of cheap places to eat ( the drinks often cost more than the meals).
