I also would like to thank everybody for there help on this thread, we had a fantastic break, the weather was lovely, i was half expecting to bump into a money saver but didnt, we stayed at the galeon playa and considering what we paid we had no complaints at all, the location was perfect, thanks again everyone.0

and I have been promised a stay in Raffles for my 30th.
One plan is to fly out and stay in Singapor for 1 week then somewhere in the Cook islands for a week before onto NZ for a month then sail back if we can to take in South Africa. I have a large budget to play with so once flights are released I can start looking into it. It will probably be a nightmare to plan but should be fun
I think a week in singapore may be a bit too long.
I did 3 or 4days and that was enough.
If you need any info about the place, give me a shout, could even send u some of my pics.
Id love to go the cook islands and anywhere in the pacific0 -

we stayed at the Galeon playa. Had a fab time. 5 mins from beach, beautiful weather, almost forgot it was February. The meals on the plane were a nice surprise. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Thanks for the great tip.We were on a tight budget and found lots of cheap places to eat ( the drinks often cost more than the meals).0
