Wow, Fran, that is a really nice gathering of free technie stuff, even nicer if you say it has kept you safe. I don't use internet heavily, but my boyfriend has installed AVG Free on my computer and i has been ok til now. Also he recommended me to use AVG ThreatLabs to check how safe the websites I usually browse are.0

I use nod 32, firewall and spybot. Very effective tools in combating lurking viruses and trojans and the kind. This post provides guidance only. It does not constitute financial advice0

I've been using Kasperksy (free with bank(, but due to one program having an incompatibility issue I am thinking of going back to a free program.
I have liked my firewall & av being combined though, so I think it's out of:
Commodo Security Suite - Too many pop up messages?
Agnitum Outpost Security Suite - No sandbox
Fortinet Forticlient
I'm now leaning towards Outpost due to the pop ups on Commodo. Kaspersky has been very unobtrusive - it doesn;t bother me if it doesn't need to, and when it does its a small warning! Eg - will just block something dodgly looking rather than asking if it should!
Any experts available to advise me?0 -

I'm not an expert but I use Commodo and don't get pop up messages.
I'm guessing there is a box to tick to stop or reduce them?Waddle you do eh?0
