Ok thanks for the info, no harm done then. Search goes on!0

£30 for that one.0

Said he doesn't want any fees but not to bid on any more of his auctions. End of the matter, bullet dodged there!0

if it will fly through a mot he should pay the £30 mot cost.. (its about that for trade) he will get more than the £30 on top of the auction. i think its gonna fail on loads.. best of leaving it if your not happySealed pot challenger # 10

or maybe instead of assuming debating and deliberating you could of all just logged on to ebay and asked me. the reason the car is for sale with no mot is because there is no insurance on it and hasnt been since august! as the advert quite clearly and truthfully states this car has been parked up since then as my boyfriend bought me a new car for my birthday and as i do not have an insurance company that will insure two cars for me at the same time (1st central) for all those who feel the need to check!! we were going to sell it before the mot ran out on the 30th of November however were unable to find time, as we have work, 2 children and i am 7 months pregnant so unlike you lot who spend all day with nothing better to do unfortunatly for us life is not this simple. the advert does not say my boyfriend is a trader it says he is in the trade which he is. the car is listed as honestly as possible it says its a cat c etc. the pictures were taken in december of last year as some extremly intellegent person managed to spot ( may be the snow that gave it away! however unlike you all im not going to assume!!) for anybody that has a clue if id of wanted to be dodgy or underhand i would of edited said pictures to remove the snow or even walked all the way out of the front door and taken new ones!! these pictures are a true reflection of the car so are therefore more than suitable for the purpose of ebay. on a final note as you all have nothing better to do than delve into other peoples lives i am off work all next week. if anybody would like to come and see this car check its history or even buy it let me know as you all seem very interested in proving it to be dodgy. thankyou lisa0

Fair enough... but the advert and your reply doesn't help itself.
If you've not had time to MOT it before selling it, how come you managed to find time once it's sold? If somebody is selling a car with no MOT but is willing to put it through once it's sold; you automatically wonder why they're willing to lose (possibly) a couple of hundred quid by not MOT'ing it before sticking it up for sale.0 -
as i said im off this week thats why i have time now and im not that hard up for a coulple of hundred quid! i need it gone as its nearly christmas and santa has nowhere to park his sleigh on christmas eve/day!! if anyone is unsure about buying a car on ebay they should first ask sensible questions then go and view the car before the auction ends so they can make an informed decision and most important of all if your not sure DONT BID!!!!0
-
Q: Do you have any more pictures of the car, inside etc? Also if I was to bid, and win would you mot it (at cost of course)? Regards Marvin
A: will put more pics up asap,i could mot the car but car and mot would have to be paid for first, thanks
I'm with the seller here. Poor show to bid on it knowing the cost of the MoT and car would have to be paid for up front as that is what you agreed with the seller. Good luck with the resale and I hope you get a more serious buyer this time.0 -
I was serious about buying the car, I wanted to know what old happen IF it failed the mot. Terms were I'd py deposit then he'd mot. Line that threw me was the "I'll let you know if it fails. As I said I've spoke with the seller and that's that as for as I'm cornered.0
