For the people who have been given refunds, when did you place your orders and when were your items despatched?
Not happy here, not the 5.50 but the principal.0 -
I placed my order on the 20th September. If you are polite on the phone to Amazon and get nowhere just ring back and speak to someone else. Fingers crossed for you

I pre-ordered from Amazon in September. My original order email shows I ordered under the pre-order price guarantee. Dispatched Tuesday and received Thursday.
Got an email today as expected saying the £5.50 is being refunded automatically under the promotion.

And I have now received en email saying
Because we reduced the price of your pre-release title between dispatch (when we charged you) and the release date, you will automatically receive a refund for £5.50.0 -
I ordered 1st December, I think the price changed on the release date which was the 2nd.
They are saying the item was dispatched already so was a matter of hours between this and the price being reduced.
I have got nowhere with 2 advisors and a supervisor. They are saying I have to return and re-order.0 -
Weird after discussions with 2 customer advisors and 2 supervisors and them providing a name and address for me to complain.
I received another seperate email to say I was getting a refund of £5.50........0 -
i ordered this set from amazon the first day it was posted (amazon was free delivery
) and i received it today, thanks to those posting this deal both for tesco and amazon, i've been holding off buying any because i wanted the entire collection, couldn't get my daughter to see the last three movies with me at the cinema though oddly she's dying to see them now!
so i'm gonna let her watch the first 5 movies to get her up to speed then we'll have the last three spread over christmas eve, christmas and boxing day :T0 -

They just emailed me to say the refund had been put on my account, I didnt have to do anything0 -
Amazon used to price match for 30 days...they stopped that a couple of years ago.
I just got 47p back from Amazon for a DVD I ordered that was released at £8 when I paid £8.47 with them, that was under the guarantee. I must say I was surprised to see it in ASDA for £8 and even though 47p isn't any big deal, it was nice of them."There is no substitute for time."
