The buy 3 get 20% off isn't working, Tesco Entertainment know about it, thought it would be fixed by lunch. I rang and put my order through online while on the phone, the assistant has given me my order number and gone to get authorisation for the discount as it was more than she could authorise. I ordered 3 boxsets one of which is Star Wars blu ray for £48.0 -

Star Wars isn't included in the Buy 3, Save 20% offer. It's only items listed on this page (well, 5 pages of them):
http://www.tescoentertainment.com/store/browse/campaign/adventcalendarday2/
Unless I'm being blind... But if they gave you 20% off Star Wars on the phone then well done!!
EDIT: Just ordered some things and the code works fine when the items in your basket are from the selected items shown.0 -
I have just posted some codes on the codes board for extra cc points on Tesco entertainment.Hope is not a strategy.0

Hi pinkteapot, I can see what you mean now, but when I click on the sign at the top where it says click here to shop it takes me to their home main page where it says our top picks this week. I clicked and shopped. I hope I get it I've told hubby now
made him wait until it came down in price

Typical...pre-ordered from Amazon for £25.50. QUOTE]
HMV will refund the difference if their price changed between ordering online and them shipping to you. Their price is still at £25.50 though.
Because of their returns policy, however, don't open the boxed set and return it for a full refund (and it's free to return using their freepost address). Then order from another retailer such as Tesco or whoever else is selling for £20 (Asda if not selling it at £20 will price match Tesco anyway).
Also worth mentioning that O2 customers can get £5 gift voucher back if they spend over £20 at HMV. You could therefore order through HMV for the £25.50 if other stores run out, and only be £0.50 out of pocket overall.:hello:On mortgage pay off countdown. Less than 8 years to go. :j Won £50 Amazon voucher for filling in a survey, £100 shopping voucher, £20 Odeon voucher, £20 bowling voucher :T Doing a £2 terramundi jar challenge but everyone else seems to have the same challenge as there don't seem to be many £2 coins around!:p0 -
After seeing the pre-order on the MSE weekly email I thought what a bargin, so went ahead and ordered.
As normal the excellent delivery service from Amazon the item arrived today as promised, but when checking the status of another order I noticed the price drop of the Harry Potter boxset.
Went into live chat with customer service on amazon explaining the price change and they are now prcessing the £5.50 refund. There was no mention of this being a one off.
I did inquire if this would have been refunded automatically and was told no as the change in price happened after dispatch.
That's very odd as that directly contradicts Amazon's own T&C's on Pre-Order Price guarantee.
I see i will have to contact them also if I don't hear from them in a few days. Will be keeping a close eye on this one.
I am 100% certain when I ordered in September the Pre-Order Price Guarantee was listed on my order so it *should* come through for me, just like my previous Harry Potter pre-order, but it's looking doubtful reading this topic.0 -
I emailed Amazon, got a reply and was told we don’t extend a post-order price guarantee but I am getting a one-time exception refund.0
