Also, i have decided to reduce my junk food eating as of january, so as of then, if i eat junk food for every piece i eat, i have to put 50p in the SP, so could wine up being very expensive for me, but i need motivation.

Great Idea! I think I need to set myself this target too! :D

Someone left a lonely £1 coin out in the cold inside one of those trollies you put the coin in, I grabbed it so he's safe. Although sister claiming this as reduction from xmas tree purchase, oh well she's skinter than me and it makes the tree £3.50 each :) into the pot he goes.

    Hi Everybody,

I had a few pennies from last week's housekeeping money leftover, so the notes have gone into the bank to pay down debt and the pennies have gone into the pot :T

Hope you're all having a great weekend.
  • Morning,

Well today will be a no spend day - I potted £2 ish into my change on but potted £10 in £2 coins into that jar - so approximately £12 this week.

Not sure whether to count it all as one total for this thread - me and hubby said that all change from budgeted plans - i.e. a night out (entertainment budget), food budget should go into the pot and £2 just saved separately anyway - however it is all lose change, even though I save £2 in the £2 savers??

    What does everyone else do?

A very warm welcome, ms_night_ryder, it's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.

A very good idea with the junk food, ms_night_ryder.

Hi keepcalmanddrinktea, I'm pleased you've got your tin sorted now - something in it too. :)

So, your "sealed pot" is actually sealed then, is it izzoh?? From what you said on the previous page I wasn't too sure. You did do well with what you put in it though, good for you.

You deserve to be proud, Muppet_baby, very MSE ways for sure.

Good to hear you've made a very good start, ladsmadd, at least there are no great expenses for you this year. :D

Hi Kerfuffle, good to see you.

Hi Alwaysthebusybee, I think you've become a little confused about which challenges you're on as your No here is 1465 not 94, so have a scan through the others you're subscribed to and see if you can sort them out that way. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to ask here or PM me anytime.

Re your question, ATBB: Most of us simply save as much as possible of change left over from shopping or anything at all. I'd advise you try that and see how things go. There are no rules so it's up to you. :)

Very good indeed, findingmyfeet, but don't worry about next week as you don't have to save on a weekly basis, just as and when you have the cash to be able to save.
Whether you're relaxing, shopping or working, have a lovely Sunday everyone.
