I knew if I went out my tin would be delivered. Just got back from visiting my Sister and have a Royal Mail 'While you were out' card on the doormat. So I cant have my pot until Monday.
On the plus side my sister gave me £10 that she owed me, so thats ready to go into the tin when I go and get it.Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.0 -
Oh dear, I completely failed last year and gave up. I kept dipping into the pot as my animals needed too many visits to the vets
Although I failed my 10 year old kept going with his road kill jar and managed nearly £16. He is going to buy me a Christmas present with it.
I intend to do better this yearLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
Rather you than me with the shopping, supasick, still you survived and have money in the pot too, well done.
At least the pot gained out of the 2 of you, wannabee_in_credit!
Oh Elle (oops, that sounds a bit....!:o) you'll have to try to hold out on those pizzas, still, in a way we all need a little treat now and again. £2.20 in the pot's good though.
oooh that sounds lovely, catwoman, we no longer have fires, storage heaters instead, though we both miss the comfort of a fire, who knows one of these days! Nice going with the pot being fed.
Oh, DorsetGirl, you just knew yesterday it would happen..it didn't let you down either. A darn shame but something to look forward to on Monday. Excellent getting the whole tenner in the pot.
Hi angelsmomma and welcome back to the fold.Given the circumstances you can't really look at it as failing. Lets hope you'll have better luck during this next year and bless your little lad with his roadkill jar!! He did MUCH better than I did..you'll have to follow him!

So I found a jar where I started this challange myself last year.... failed miserably but just added up the contents of the jar that has been hidden under a pile of paperwork! I thought it would be pennies.
I found 2 pairs of earrings, a hairclip, a pen and some lip gloss in the jar. (no lid as I raided it months back ) but.... I did find some pennies that added up to..................................................
£3.43!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I did save some change afterall! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
so this has been added to my SEALED pot for 2011/2012...... yay!

Can i please join? Bought a tin today from 99p store and have popped £1 in to get me started, i will put money in there as and when, but don't want to keep track it, i want it to be a hopefully nice suprise? won't put pennies in, will put those in penny jar, anything else goes though
Also, i have decided to reduce my junk food eating as of january, so as of then, if i eat junk food for every piece i eat, i have to put 50p in the SP, so could wine up being very expensive for me, but i need motivation.Lose 28lb 3/28lb
