Wonderful news about your GREAT day out, Rosy! With all you wrote I really could experience your enjoyment and am thrilled for you as you did sound low last week. It's amazing what a difference a day in the sun can have...a 2p pick-up too!!! :jnanto3girls wrote: »Had a busy couple of days with youngest grandaughter staying for the weekend.Loved every minute of it though.Good to hear you have cheered up a bit Rosy,by the way youngest grandaughter is called Rosie.

I'm potting £7.35 in change today. It would have been more, but had to get a taxi home urgently earlier as I left my phone at home and was meeting a friend to go out of town shopping.
However, no and I mean NO public phones around in town - at all. Only about 6 months ago, there were at least 2 dotted around the town.
Asked a policeman where there was one and he said "Everyone carries mobiles these days" and I had to bite back the sarcastic reply of either not eveyrone does or some people (like me) accidently leave it at home.
Ended up getting a taxi back home which cost just over £6.00 - wasn't happy.Sealed Pot Challenge No 3060 -

What a lovely sum for you to have saved, Kerry! 10p roadkill too! You have a lovely weekend too.
Thanks Sue. Had a very busy, but nice weekend. Have some office temp work in London this week. Worked 3 days in London as well last week.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Hi little_sweetie, how about covering up the lens he wanted to take out? If you're unsure about doing so then ask him to cover up the lens with his hand to see if he can still see out ok with the other. The trouble is specs are adjusted for both eyes looking through at the same time so his vision would probably be way off course if he only looked through the one. A bit of a b*gger I know.
Thanks, sue-uu, but nope...tried everything. It looks like we'll just have to wait for the test on Wednesday to see if everything is ok. Fingers crossed.....
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend with all the sun around. Doesn't it cheer you up no endIt's looking like another lovely day is on the cards here and OH has decided he's coming food shopping as he's at a loose end  (mental note: check any unauthorised additions to Mr M's trolley before reaching checkout!

Morning all, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
Lovely to hear you enjoyed having your youngest GD, nanto3girls, they always have a great way of brightening life.
Great news about another CC being paid off, SteffieLou, well done you! :T
Good to hear the whole weekend was a lovely and memorable one, Rosy.
I suppose the Policeman was quite right, Delilahh, I guess even older folk carry them as a just in case measure. What boothes they do have are so often vandalised  - same with toilets - so many have been shut down now - and what alternative then?!!!! :eek:Just wanted to know if i can pot money made from cashback sites?.
Hi ladsmadd! The answer to your question is - YES, you're welcome to add cash from cashback sites.
Kerry, you're always a very busy lady, still, god to hear the weekend was a nice one too. I can't imagine living or working in London, my experiences of it are just being so hectic! Good job we're not all the same.
Sorry to hear that little_sweetie, it must be so darned frustrating for him. Time out with you will do him good.Have a really lovely day, folks enjoy the sun if you can!
Sue x
