Oh don't you just hate the tax credits :mad: However don't let them tell you that you have to pay it all at once if you lose your appeal - I paid them back at £20 a month for 5 years when I had a similar thing. They seemed happy just to get something back - I hope that hasn't changed. Good luck with it.

What a sweetie you're married to

My OH got back from London last night and presented me with some postcards.... I think he could tell i wasn't overly impressed so he took me for dinner At which, he told me he was planning on buying me some socks with the tube map on which would have been the best present ever. But, he didn't get them... Its the thought that counts i guess.

I have over £400 in my pots now which, apart from about £50 is all change i would have just left in my purse and spent.... Thats crazy. Thanks for making this thread Sue and thanks to the rest of you guys for keeping it alive.

I finally got my pictures to work (on the iPad at least) so i hope you can all see them. Although its a bit anti-climatic now lol. Turns out this forum doesnt like flickr...

Here they are anyway. My pictures of the definition of roadkill. Its not even in my pot, its perched on top looking all impressed with itself reminding me daily to walk with my nose to the floor...

HAPPY 30th ANNIVERSARY to you both :beer: Have a lovely meal tonight and what a lovely present you had. As you say, things can't be too bad if you have stuck it out this long :rotfl:We had our 40th last October :eek:

Anyway, 23p just potted which is change from food shopping. I am amazed we had anything left with OH pushing the trolley :rotfl::rotfl:It's better than nothing!

Still potting some change but I haven't had any £ coind this week so I'll have to make it up at the end of the week.

Five days until I open the road change pot to pay for the scooter tax, MoT & tank of fuel

Sue I see you're still encouraging some of our lady members to raid their DH's pockets, there's no changing you is there!
