Sparky i'm so excited to know how much you have saved. Do you have any idea?
I have a confession to make, today, i rescued 20p from the toilet...... In my defence, it was my toilet which i had just flushed, i fished it out with a cleaning brush and washed it in bleachSo it is now sat in my pot with all its friends felling quite happy for itself
Is that really wrong?

I don't know about anyone else but to me that is not wrong. Thanks for making this thread Sue and thanks to the rest of you guys for keeping it alive.
I completely agree
My pot is extremely heavy and almost full. I saw another one in a shop yesterday (I have to get a new pot, I can't get much more in the current one) but it was 99p and I kept thinking that could be 99p in my pot! Think I will just use something I already have. I never thought I would have to worry about a 2nd pot!

Hi all
not checked in for a while, i have been potting all my small change and raiding OH pockets at the end of each week for his small change.
I am planning to count my pot at the end of March and "change" as much of the small change as possible to bigger coins and possibly notes which i will put back into my pot to continue saving...i thought i would do this in order to avoid having large quantities of coins waiting to be banked at the end......
I will let you know how much i have saved so far soon......LBM @ 01.01.12 TOTAL DEBT = £13301.77. LH number 320
