Just potted our spoils from a weekend of fun - £10.08 gone in the tin.

Out of interest, where do you all keep your pots? I'm terrified my house is going to get broken into and someone will take away all our hard work.
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Hi little_sweetie, I don't blame you with the confrontation part though from what I can remember it was a 'proper' meter..wasn't it?? Don't answer that if you'd prefer to forget. ;) Trying to SNOW!!!! Started off a beautiful day here, but soon became a chilly morning.

Hi sue-uu, it wasn't actually a metered space just a massive outdoor carpark at a shopping centre which allows 2 hours free parking (I erroneously thought it was 2 1/2 hours and we got back after 2 hours 10 minutes):( It wasn't as though people were queueing to park and we were holding onto a space either. The carpark was 3/4 empty  And they wonder why people are not shopping and spending as much these days!

Hope everyone has had a wonderful day. Happy potting! x

Good to see you back on, nanto3girls , doing well with your savings too! :D

Aww bless your Lily, jakes-mum! Is Jake ok?
I have a confession to make I removed some money from my tin but it has gone towards paying off a debt only £10 but more than I would of had if I didnt have this challenge.

Hope you can all forgive me :o

    PD21 x

ps will add to my sig £10 banked if thats ok?

You're forgiven for sure PD21, it's always good to hear about a debt being paid off so good for you! Yes, if you'd pop the amount on your siggy it'd be great, thanks. :)

Excellent saving Ghostlove! If you're at all worried about your pot then hide it away somewhere out of sight. I have 2 terramundi which are very ornamental so I like to have mine visible, but not too visible so they're in a "come and get me" kind of place. Pop yours in a cupboard or in a bedroom cupboard perhaps. IF you haven't got yours in a tin (though I think I remember you have) you could always take a certain amount out and bank it every so often. Maybe worth thinking about investing in something else to save in? Be happy with what you decide. :)

    Very well done indeed, Delilahh!!
And they wonder why people are not shopping and spending as much these days!

Ah sorry, little_sweetie, my mistake, but what some sw**es, almost as if they're just waiting to pounce! You're so right about people nt shopping so much now due to parking costs..why should they expect us to just pay pay pay!! ..and they're on now about upping hospital parking! Somethings has to give surely!

Off of that sizzling topic little_sweetie, the rest of life's far too good to keep worrying about.. NO! I won't even say the word. Sleep well and I do hope your DH is feeling better now. :)

I hope you all had a lovely day all, especially all Mums.

He's fine Sue-UU ty for asking :) Hes turning into a right pre-teen though, starting to comunicate in grunts and happy to live in what closely resembles a squat (though he assures me its a bedroom) :rotfl:

They are both full of smiles at the minute as we took them to see DH's uncle yesterday and as we were leaving they both got handed a £10'er   Bless her, Lilys is already in her money box, and true to form, Jakes is already broken from a trip to the locals shops sweet aisle ;) I may be removing £5 from each of them and chucking it in their banks to stop Jake spending the lot ;)

Found 5p in the bottom of my handbag yesterday whilst searching for my mobile, so into the pot its gone :D
