    A very Good Morning all.

All best wishes for a very Happy Birthday, samtoby! :bdaycake: Have a wonderful day and year.
I do hope that you are feeling much better now too and that your toe is back to normal, big <<HUGS>> back x

The toe has just got a pretty good seal of approval from the medics and is almost back to being healed, thanks so much, little_sweetie.

    Good morning LC2 & Sue
You nearly had me blushing there, good job I'm not the blushing type! LC2 good luck on "my patch" today, I'm stuck in work again, so I can't rugby tackle you if you pick up change outside Mr. M's in Speke, happy hunting X

I never thought for one minute that blushes and you were associated, sparky. You would honestly rugby tackle a poor defenceless lady over a penny???!! Yes, I know you would!

Look out LC 2, he's after you!
Have put in £6.62 into my pot. 6p of that was road kill. Change from the last few days.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day today and my Mum and I are going round my sister's tomorrow for Mother's Day.

You too, Kerry and have a wonderful day today and with your Mum & Sister tomorrow. Very well done with the cash too! :)
Have a lovely weekend all and enjoy St Patrick's Day!

Happy birthday samtoby! :bdaycake: I'm 27 in July so know the feeling. I felt quite young until I hit 25, now I feel quite old :o

Welcome redd1800! It can be a bit mad here at times but it's great motivation for saving!

little_sweetie only pay the fine if the ticket was from the police or the local council. Private parking companies try to look official and often the tickets try appear to be from the council to try and trick you but they cannot legally make you pay. Read Martin's advice on the main site for loads of info and help.

I've only potted a few pennies this week as I had to use my card a lot. I've got a few 20ps in my purse but they really should go in the car for parking .

OH and I are house-sitting for the next 5 weeks. Any ideas for meals we can cook which won't require us to buy in loads of stuff that we won't use up in the time? We haven't done our own shopping and cooking for nearly 3 years and I'm quite out of practise  Want to write a menu then a list to stick to.

    Have a good weekend everyone!

    Hello everyone :D...

Haven't had time to catch up on the posts I've missed from the last few days ...But I've finished one of the projects, after much: sanding, filling, undercoating, resanding, four coats of paint and a new bargain basement set of handles (a pound - they had no bolts for the back, but I did :p).

    Here it is:

Haven't had much to pot this week , hopefully we'll be back on track next week :D..

Oh, Happy Birthday samtoby :bdaycake:...yum, yum :rotfl:...

    Happy Potting everyone :D

Happy birthday samtoby!Great work nu1isit? I hate sanding but look's like you did a great job:)

    Have potted £1.22p + a £ 2.67p yesterday.

Took my mother's day gift/card to my mum. I'm such a tight-wad now I walked home instead of getting the bus to save the £1.40p for my pot instead:rotfl:
Best wishes and big hugs to all that need it:grouphug:

Thanks for the above ljaneyr I have taken a look but decided to pay as I hate confrontation and would be the sort to get really stressed out by official looking letters demanding payment :o I did go back to check the signage and it did state 2 hours limit (I thought it was 2 1/2hrs) and it IS a private company. By paying within 7 days the 'fine' was reduced to £40 instead of £60 (after 14 days it's £100  ) Yes, I know I'm a wimp :o but I now have an extra £10 (making £24.....OH paid half the 'fine') to last until the end of the month.

Good luck with your house sitting. It sounds like fun! Sorry I can't really help with food plans as we mostly eat veggie food but I bet someone on here has just the job :D

Happy Mother's Day to every mum on the forum!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone...OMG it's trying to SNOW! x
