Hiya,
Sparky, you are such an inspiration. Welcome back and all the best in your debt-free life. Your DW sure is one lucky lady (as are you, I am sure). We really missed you.
Potted £1.10 today. My pot is getting heavier !!
Would it not be fun if we did a SPC 5 day out and all meet? We'd all have such fun (and spend our savings in the process )!

Oh I would definitely be up for that
Well done sparky that's amazing. And good luck with the mortgage, I bet you pay that off really quickly. I wonder if I should try that?

Most surreal event in New York!
We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, on the Brooklyn side we stopped for a drink at a bar/restaurant. The bar/restaurant was Italian. The owners were Russian & the music playing in the back ground was Christmas music. Can't get my head around that one!Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. We have 8 years 6 months remaining. I've worked out that overpaying by £150 per month. We can knock 3 years 2 months off the mortgage & save almost £13000 in interest alone, so it's definitely worth looking into

Hey sparky you'll have to change your sig! Cos you're not a DFW anymore :T:T:T
You've spurred me on to look into overpaying as my mortgage is very small now and it would be great if it was non existant
the reason I haven't done it yet is that I'm really lucky the interest rate is 1.25% and I can earn more than that in savings. But it would still be great to be mortgage free before I'm 55
hmmm...
