Most surreal event in New York!
We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, on the Brooklyn side we stopped for a drink at a bar/restaurant. The bar/restaurant was Italian. We have 8 years 6 months remaining. I've worked out that overpaying by £150 per month. We can knock 3 years 2 months off the mortgage & save almost £13000 in interest alone, so it's definitely worth looking into Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. You've spurred me on to look into overpaying as my mortgage is very small now and it would be great if it was non existant the reason I haven't done it yet is that I'm really lucky the interest rate is 1.25% and I can earn more than that in savings. But it would still be great to be mortgage free before I'm 55 hmmm...
