Helloooo to the Newbies from me (a bit late I know).

Today, left in my pocket was £2.01, so in the pot it goes.

Am off to see a friend tomorrow and we're hitting the south coast - so I'm quite excited about that.

Hopefully I'll come back with some pennies left and be able to pot some more.

    Have a good weekend potters.

Decided today I'll pot anything less than a pound coin now I've got an Oyster card so don't need change for the bus. So bunged about a fiver in my lovely heavy jingling pot :T

Hi and welcome to the newbies :)

You are never going to believe this.....

Walking in Bournemouth on my lunch break outside a shop and I see a shiney 5p. It was beautiful. :AThe sunlight flickered on its wonder....I got excited....I went to reach for it and it wouldn't let me pick it up and hold its beautiful perfectly round self.....so I tugged a little harder.....

And there laughing in the corner are a collection of teenagers laughing.....

I feel I was set up.....someone knew I was going to be a sucker for my first roadkill....

Now I have returned back to work, shy and sheepish.... :(

I think I will be too frightend to do it again - no roadkill for Samtoby :o

I say, go back tomorrow with a chisel (sp?) and show them its your 5p and you'll be taking it home!!! ha ha.

Says me who was too much of a wimp to pick up 6p!!!

oooo I did find a penny in the train station though whilst waiting for my sister. may have to hang around there more often :D
