"Sealed Pot Challenge 5"

Morning, I would really love to join this challenge please!
I haven't got a specific target in mind, but I do have a suitable pot ready and waiting to be doctored at home!

I thought I should pop in and say hello as I don't often update in here as I don't like to count my pennies as they are dropped into the pot. But I do add a reasonable amount each week based on what's not been spent of my daily budget as well as the extra little bits I find lying around temporarily homeless. It's sounding pretty healthy in the sealed box now with that lovely tingy sound of coin hitting coin rather than the dull sound of coin hitting carboard (I use an old washing tablet box).
The only thing is I never throw coppers in there. My coppers go into a swarovski bag (ooh, get me) which I don't look in or count. I don't know why but I've always kept copper separate so it's just habit really.
I did see a 10p piece sitting on a table I walked past at work yesterday. Through habit I went to pick it up and then realised it was probably just resting there from the last person at that table so I left it well alone! I do get a bit focussed on grabbing spare change lying around but don't want to cross over into blatant theft!! Ha ha!0 -

Hi Ruth
My iPad crashes randomly when I'm posting on here so I have to use my desktop at work. I thought it was just mine so it's interesting to see it happens to you too. Hmm maybe I need to ask someone on the techie boards if they know anything
Glad you worked out OH's pay

Hi everyone..... Henrietta the chicken is feeling much better now and scratching and pecking around as usual !! (Still not laying though)
when I went to get her this morning to put her in the cat box to take her for her antibiotic injection at the vets she was hiding from me peeping round a corner every time I tried to look for her!!! she ran in her coup right into a corner where she knows I can't reach her !!
When I eventually managed to get hold of her she squawked so loud, anybody in the near vicinity would have thought I might be taking her for the pot !!!!! (NEVER)
Anyway she has been discharged from the vet now and I'm just to keep an eye on her ... if she goes downhill again then get her back there asap.
Now however I have my youngest boy off from school again feeling very poorly. Took him to doc's and the nurse said his tonsils not really up but big spots on the back of his throat, high temp and extremely tired with swollen glands everywhere. Did throat swab to see if anything grows! If not then back for blood test to see whats wrong? She queered glandular fever ???? (I've actually had that and it is VERY nasty - so lets hope this is not the case)
Anyway.... on a bright note I managed to put £2 in the pot today !!
Hope everyone is ok keep those pots filling up !!!0 -
hello all
glad henrietta chicken is better
have had 2 NSDs this week so nuffink for the pot but got £3.20 change today from food shopping to pot along with the usual £1 per day. When I pick up the cats head its quite heavy and am getting a bit excited about the weight (doesnt take much to get excited eh?)
No roadkills here, think everyones being careful with their dosh and a distinct lack of £2 coins, where have they all gone???SPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)
