    Hi Ruth
My iPad crashes randomly when I'm posting on here so I have to use my desktop at work. I thought it was just mine so it's interesting to see it happens to you too. Hmm maybe I need to ask someone on the techie boards if they know anything
Glad you worked out OH's pay :)

well done for giving up smoking !!!!! :):):)

keep going - think of your good health along with all that wonderful money you are going to spend !!!!
    Well done Lisajane for quiting.

Thanks, TBH I never really considered myself a "real" smoker as I only smoked on when having a drink or when stressed, but even so I know it still was not a good thing to do and am proud of myself.

Can't wait to get home and doctor my pot. For my birthday I may plea with the OH for a one of those sealed pots you get from Clinton Cards.

A very warm welcome, lisajane4842, it's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Well done on ditching the cigs
    lisajane! :T

Hi everyone, I hope you're all enjoying a good day despite the weather. If not, that you'll enjoy a relaxing evening snuggling up.

sparky, have a wonderful time, and don't you mean YOU will be waving to us from the Big Apple?! I'll be watching for you and LC 2's [STRIKE]daft[/STRIKE] lovely enough for anything like that too. :rotfl:
Then we are off visiting relations must not try and put hands down sides of settee when visiting find I do this even when in restaurants :rotfl::rotfl:It is not a nice habit!!!!

    X LC2

Oh I really must beg to differ, LC 2, it could be extremely lucrative. Course you could always turn it upside down with the excuse that you lost a penny! :rotfl:
Sue-UU I'll reply properly tomorrow (iPad doesn't like long posts) but the money is his. He gets paid a month in advance :D

Excellent news, Ruth and that's all that matters!!!! :T

Pop over to the Techie board, Ruth and Ruby and see if they can help sort out the problem/s. There are some very knowledgeable guys there.

Good to see you popping in, MuffinTops, at least it lets us know you're still saving. Well done!
Potting £2 tonight. Bloke in the shop said he had no £5 notes only coins and he apologised for it. Silly man obviously haven't heard of the SPC5:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the giggle, mumof3plusoh. He has much to learn.

Very well done to your DH, elizabunny, whatever it is keep him on it!! He can give me some too!

I'm so pleased to hear about Henrietta, shelches! zafiro and I are chicken lovers too, so appreciate your concern. I hope she continues in good health - that your poor lad does too! Our DGD had it a couple of years ago, very nasty indeed, so fingers crossed that he doesn't have it.

Well done with your savings, all, whatever we all save is fantastic!
    Sue x

I gave up smoking 52 days ago and have been saving the money I would have spent, I only bought 10 a week (unless I went out) but can I pot that money? I have been putting it in a tin since I quit (should have around £50-60 in now).
Well done on giving up - I'd pot it if it was mine, you'll really see how much you've saved at the end of the year :)
