  • Hi all,

    Congratulations, Cherryjack, wonderful news!:j

and Happy Holidays Sparky & DW we'll all miss you. Come back safe and sound and tell us all about it...

I'm just reporting that I've had nothing to pot for the last few days. Things are a bit tight again this month (when are they not lately) and I'm down to my last few coins until next wednesday (eek...a whole week  ) I had £7 this morning but I had a ticket for the local amateur Theatre and have spent a great night there. It cost 80p for a cup of tea on arrival, £1 for a programme and £1.50 for a Magnum lolly in the interval (oh, the decadence of it! :rotfl:) so I have £3.70 left for the week but it was worth it. :D

    Happy potting everyone!

Many congratulations to you all, Cherry!!!! Great news!

A new SPC baby is always received with great joy. :A
I only bought 10 a week (unless I went out) but can I pot that money? I have been putting it in a tin since I quit (should have around £50-60 in now).

Forgive me for missing that bit earlier, lisajane, but of course you can pot it. :D If you need more incentive to quit then saving all the cash is it, along with your health of course.

A good job you replied to lisajane, Rosy, I hadn't seen it, thanks for that. :o

A terrific total to date, welshone, so much to be proud of already.

Well done Dawnie on your first roadkill!!!

Good for you e4rub, greater than mine which was zilch. :(
Sleep well folks, see you all tomorrow.

£1.72 in the pot tonight. DH went to Mr M's with DD again today. I gave him a list and a £20 note, I told him I wanted everything on the list and £19 change. :rotfl::rotfl:
He was very good ( for a change ) and only spent just over £8 by following the list.

Make sure they don't chew through the wire ModestyB! Ours did eventually! But then we got Jack Russells so we should have known better :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Don't worry ljaneyr , I know Staffies can chew through anything so we'll be keeping a good watch on them. Star has already chewed holes in all the cupboard doors and shelves in the kitchen. To look at them though you'd think they were little :A:A. :rotfl::rotfl:

Congratulations Cherryjack for your new DD. :T:T

  • Morning everyone,

Dropped change into pot yesterday - change from Post Office after posting ebay stuff. Got a couple more parcels to go today - lets see if there is any change to pot. Spent quite a bit on ebay postage over the last couple of days - I know you get it back but its the pull out till you get it sorted. Have thought about sorting postage via paypal but knowing my luck I would mess it up somehow or the printer would go on the blink.

    Have a good day everyone.

Theatre sounds like more of a bargain than the cinema- and more community-friendly too!
