  • Hi NU!ISIT

Do you need me to tell you ???? :rotfl::rotfl:

    Cheeky LC :p...very cheeky :D....
Wanted to buy a dress yesterday from Miss Selfridge. It was talking to me for a few moments. 'Look at me Samantha, look how pretty I am, look how pretty you would feel wrapped in my threads.....' then I came crashing down when I realised the £45 the dress was, could be the difference between me getting half way to my £20k challenge on pay day.... and not.

Congratulations samtoby on resisting the urge to splurge :D...There's a DAB radio that keeps looking at me, but I don't think it wants to wrap itself around me :rotfl:...I could show it some serious daddy dancing though :p...

Good news, 94p housekill/roadkill/purse kill today, put straight into the pot :j. You know I'm singing oh, happy days in my head now don't you :D?...

    Happy Potting everyone :D :j :D

I found 5p on top of the washing machine last night. Absolutely no idea how it got there but there were no grappling hooks or tiny foot suctions nearby so I must have emptied pockets before a wash and popped it up there. Doesn't matter how it got there, it's in the pot now!

I have a few pounds in my purse to get milk and water tonight to take on my trip away and so I think at least £1 will be left to pot. :D

It certainly is RedGoose. It's a really lovely building and they have some great plays too. I took the GC to the panto last month and they were enthralled as they had never been to one before (they're 4 & 7) It was the first time I've ever seen them sit so still and laugh & clap in all the right places :rotfl: I'm thinking of becoming an associate member of this theatre (when I have the £5 membership fee to spare :o) I'll be perfectly happy selling ice creams and programmes for them! lol...

    Aah- bless 'em!

I'm quite pleased with myself (although pride before a fall and all that)- I've made it to Feb payday and have money left over to stash in my savings! :jEven though some of that is due to it being a no-council-tax month, I usually find that I have less than a council tax payment to put away (this time it's more!). Maybe the SPC is affecting my spending mindset...

One gorgeously pretty dress, still in the window.....x

Well done Samtoby. I was feeling a bit mutinous about saving the other day and was feeling like I wanted to buy something, but that feeling went after a day or two.

I do probably need to buy new shoes for work though :o

Was out at mum's last night for aa meal with friends. I asked mum how much she has in her new tin. I thought it was £1 coins she was collecting but it was £2 coins. She was complaining that she hasn't had any for ages. I did her a swap my £2 coin for her £1 coins=both mother and daughter saving.:j
