I've done my weekend top-up shop and as the family are coming round tomorrow afternoon I've bought a few treats. OH has promised to pay for a take away for tea tomorrow so I have potted the last of the food budget with a clear conscience £1.19 I have also had a sale on eB*y which cleared £23.00! :j so I have potted the £3, am banking £10 (added to my signature) which leaves me a whole £10 to last until the end of the month....woohoo :T God bless eB*y, I say.

Went out with a friend last night who was horrifed when I practically threw myself on the ground with excitement to pick up a penny. Realised afterwards how strange it must have looked, as I haven't yet let her in on my new frugal, saving ways. She struggled to know what to say as I laughed it off....:o

DS14 gave me 4 pennies this am - 'here you are Mum, you like these don't you' - YES!
