Thinking of it, Ruth, it would have (should have!) been down on his wage slip as tax paid anyway, so can't be that. Will he carry on working for them..or be called upon to intermittently? If so beware in case they're a little dodgy! Might be nothing of the sort, but.......!

ooooh do beware of family loans, Ruth, a difficult one I know, but can cause so many problems when you're a kind-hearted Sister. I hope she's able to return it asap; meanwhile "oh Sis, I really don't have any money spare as 1/ the car needs work on 2/ anything!!!"

Don't worry too much about the 6p, it's not always easy...you're forgiven!

Oh shelches, so very sorry to hear about your Henrietta, I hope she gets well as it must be costing a small fortune! Just picked Miss Lily up from nursery, wlaked in the house and shes pulled a 1p out of her pocket. 'where did you get that?' I ask, 'I found it on the floor in the garden at nursery' says Miss Lily. So into her money box it has gone shes so well trained

I then wander down the hall moaning about the doctor and him wanting me to suffer another week of headaches, numbness and general unwellness as he doesnt think a week is long enough to hand out some antibiotics , anyway yes was wandering round the hall and see 2 coins on the floor, 1 was a chinease silver thingy the other a 1p so chinease thingy on the shelf, 1p in the pot :rotfl:

put in a handfull of coppers and small change yesterday, (about a weeks worth i think) after having a clear out in our household budget pot......have a nice rattle now.....i wonder how much i will get......

Hi all, a nice £4.03 in the pot today, change from 3 rolls of mesh that's going around the garden to stop the pups getting out.

Happy pancake day to everyone mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Had pancakes for tea as kids in and out all night. 1 lemon and sugar and 1 chocolate spread. Made some more batter as hubby been at work and son at athletics training so am sure they will want some later. Forgot my flour and din't have time to bargain hunt some so chanced it in the corner shop and it was on offer for 99p so very happy as was expecting to cost a fortune.:T:T:T

Potting £2 tonight. Bloke in the shop said he had no £5 notes only coins and he apologised for it. Silly man obviously haven't heard of the SPC5:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
