Afternoon everyone
Another £2 coin for the Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund, plus my usual£2 plus a handful of small coinage into the sealed pot, I also had 16p tea room floor change when I got home last night.
Only 9 more sleeps to go for this year's trip to New York and the excitement is growing in sparky towers.

I've just opened my pot so I can bank the notes and there's £80+ in there  :j:j
So I'll bank the £80 and put it in my sig, and I think from now on I'll bank any notes straight away so I don't have to open the pot again until November. I'm stunned at how much there is - I know some of it has come from sales so I won't get as much in the future but that's still a LOT of money :T:T:T
Thanks Sue-UU and everyone:)

Not keeping count as hubby's adding to the jar (almost daily!!) so in addition to my change, the jar's starting to feel nice and heavy. Not even having to prompt him to add coins so very happyMust remember to add the money from this month's council tax
Have decided that as we're buying Christmas presents throughout the year (one done already), we'll put the cash to a pram/pushchair if we manage to get pregnant (fingers crossed)

A very Happy Valentines day to the OHs of nu1isit? and lashley!!! :A:A Summat tells me they'll need it wished for them! You still with us, lads???!

Still here Sue, just...:p She told my dad and showed him photos, so that was 5 mins of mockery and I'm sure another 4 weeks of sarcasm :rotfl::rotfl:.
Oh dear nu1isit?, how does she put up with you - what did she give you?? Apart from a thick ear!
I can't tell you what she got me on the forum Sue, she got me a corker- with an olde fashioned book as a pressie
...You shouldn't feel sorry for her, she gives as good as she gets :rotfl:.
You old skinflint, jakes-mum!!! DH & I have never done Valentines...we give each other love all year round.
Sue's got a low opinion of us for some reason jakes-mum, I don't know why :rotfl:....I tell my lovely DW, every day she wakes up beside me, is a gift Sue....The gift that keeps giving...:smileyhea:love:

OH bought me a Valentine's present which he wasn't supposed to (we went to the cinema and had dinner out on Saturday), but it was lovely anyway. I was very excited that, instead of buying wrapping paper, gift bag etc, he used tissue paper from my stash and recycled the Valentine's gift bag he gave me a couple of year's ago! Very MSE even if the present wasn't! :T0

Another NSD so nothing for the pot I am afraid.
OH suppassed(sp) himself. He came home off nights and gave me a card and large bar of chocolate. Very happy with that. :T I had left him downstairs a bag containing card, box of maltesers, 2 pairs of golf socks and a tube of love heart sweets in a lovely glittery red bag.
Busy cleaning in the kitchen when the doorbell rang. Kids answered it and said it was for me. Man standing at the door delivering a huge bouquet of flowers. Bless him. MIL was at mine and very impressed;). She said she was off home to speak to his dad and find out where hers were.:rotfl:Not very MSE of him as hate to think of him being ripped off for valentines day but he was impressed for what he had paid for them. Can't celebrate together as he is on nights:(
Son's cricket not on due to half term so lovely cosy night in and no running round playing taxi.
Had a text from DS coach at athletics to see if he is available to represent Cheshire on the 25th for indoor sportshall comp. He is very impressed. Very proud of him for this as I am equally proud of all 3 of my kids.
Sorry to waffle just having a good day and wanted to share it.
Have a lovely evening everyone.
