    You old skinflint, jakes-mum!!! DH & I have never done Valentines...we give each other love all year round. :love:

    How Rude!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Im not a skintflint! Im economical :D:D:D I used to go all out for valentines, birthdays etc but after 14 years ive realised hes just as happy with his favourite cake and some sweets as he is with a £50 jumper from debenhams (more so really :o) so I just cut it all back :o.

    I really looking forward to seeing if hes remembered, I just love that look of confusion at the present and steak dinner, and then the dawning comprehension that hes forgotten something. Best gift I get every single valentines and anniversary :rotfl:. He always feels so guilty but I find it funny, I do even now purposefully hold off giving him his gifts until the end of the night so that I get to watch the slight unease cross his eyes as I kick the kids into the livingroom for tea and serve him up his dinner (always a sign that its a night hes supposed to remember) and tend to leave his presents on the kitchen table and go run a bath so he finds them when he makesa cuppa :T:T:T

    Cruel? maybe . . . funny? definitely :rotfl::rotfl:

    What you've done, Sue, is something truely amazing. I
    only wish people who are in hardship, stress, and in a hard
    and lonely place at the moment would somehow cross this website
    and see that they're not the only one's in their situation and
    there are literally hundreds of thousands of people out there
    who are in debt over their nipples. I prey for those people
    out there that hopefully they corss this motivational
    but yet more inspirational thread of help & advice.
    You may think little of this thread but I've always said:

    "To the world (and in this case all the big men at the top trying
    to squeeze every last pennie out of you) you're just one
    person,... but to the person you mean the world".
    So just keep at it and eventually we will all be DF!! .

    Will be updating my siggy soon. Take care and speak soon!! :)
    I'm so poor I can't even pay attention.

  • Hello all, been mis-lost for a little while now but been popping money in the pot now and again whilst I've been pottering about. However, had a great find in a charity shop yesterday, a hot pink terramundi! Still with it's label! It's so cute, I love it. Not sure which savings to put in there now though as I already have a whole collection of different savings pots lol.
