Ahhh I see. Well, I've oft been told I'm a chatterbox in rl, so I don't see why it should be any different online! lol :rotfl: Thanks for the info chick.

Eee, I could take this wrong way :rotfl:Jakes-mum, you have a low opinion of me, I am both shocked and appalled :D:naughty::D... Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
I have to tell you all but I shouldn't....The lovely DW found a sewing/crafty gadget at the thrift market, that I'd never seen before...I said, "ooo, what's that", looking rather pleased with herself, she said, "it's for darning". My face obviously looked a treat, so she explained it was for repairing and stitching up clothing. I said, " aahhh, like socks" (was pleased with myself for knowing about such crafty things), the wife smirked and carried on, "Yeah, socks, shirts, jackets, pantaloons, the cr*t*h on your boxers".,I nearly choked  . Even the old couple behind me, nearly choked on their tea, I heard a splutter :D:rotfl::D...Before you ask, my pantaloons are in a state of good repair. I think not I said, that's a bit too extreme for me :D.
Anyway as punishment for making the old couple splutter their tea, she's donated her change (shrapnel), for the pot :p.

Hope you've all had a good day potting :A

That's got me reeling with laughter!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Very well done indeed, blindtoast!

    Thanks Sue,
At the moment I only seem to manage to put money in my pot once a week but every little helps I suppose! I never seem to have change as I'm trying hard to have NSDs but I may start to do the £1 in the pot for every NSD!

I've not found any roadkill yet - I don't think I'm out and about enough - may have to take up walking when I get home from work - though its's a bit dark at the moment and think i'd luck a bit suspicious with a torch!! :rotfl:

Ohh the bib did make me giggle. I've thought about going for walks myself, but I live in a very rural area and I'd need a torch too. Thought I'd look a bit of a ninny doing it.

 Ooo, I wonder if I could borrow a neighbours dog to take out once a day? That way, I'd get excersise, (t'would help shift the Christmas tummy, dog would get a walkies, and owner could do something else!!! )

Ahhhhhhhh, no one in the village has a dog, Flumpit!
  • Afternoon all,

Didn't get out to get any change last night but Ds just got in from school and given me £1.15 change from his dinner money. Mmmmmmm wonder where that went?:rotfl:

Potted £4:26 today, change from treating my little one to a toy after his horrible day yesterday, as i didn't pot anything yesterday i wanted to try and pot extra today. I also just counted my pot as it was getting full so i wanted to bag some of it up so i can change it up as i go along and after only starting on the 1st Jan so far i have £44:98 so that works out at over £2:00 a day so hopefully i will get double my target

    Evening all

Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.
  • I have been very, very good and have had two NSD's. The downside is, I have nothing to pot!

Think I may do fajitas for dinner, and so will need to pop to the shop - going to buy with cash (not card!) and then I should have something to pot by the end of the evening. It really makes me smile everytime I add to my pot:D

I also made money today, without leaving the house. Have had a very long-running 'issue' with Npo**r, As a 'gesture of goodwill' I got £50 out of 'em this afternoon. Have asked on the VSPC if I can add it to that account, if I can't I will get my backside to the cashpoint and put it in my pot!

OOh Sue you really are sooo naughty! Here's hoping! :rotfl:

Oh really, little_sweetie, whatever is the matter with you! I meant NOTES! As in £5ers, £10ers or even a £20! As if I'd talk about anything different on here! :A ;)

nu1isit?, do you mean it was a thimble you DW bought..to put on the end of her finger? Tell me now, does she do the sewing while you're wearing the clothes?!!!

Oh mishmogs, I thought for a minute you were going to say the milkman had given you a lift on his float - if you'll excuse the expression!

You're not alone with NSDs, blindtoast, I very rarely have more than 1 shop day.

Surely uou can still go out walking by yourself, JJ....just pretend you have a dog! ;)

Oh good for you, mumof3plusoh, for your DS too!

That's one HUGE pot, lashley, brilliant!!

We had fajitas for tea last night, scrappie......delicious!
Have a really wonderful weekend, everyone and keep on saving.
