    Evening all

Nothing to pot at present, a week of NSD's. However have had some bad and sad news today  So i am treating me and hubby to a chinese tonight, i was going to buy a bottle of wine too, however hubby beat me to that.

And the money will come from my petrol budget as i will have about £50 left by payday. :j

So whatever is left from the chinese will be potted. :j

Now do i buy a lovely big meal to help me feel better or do i buy something smaller so i can pot more.... Decisions, decisions.

Have a good evening all. Will post my pottage later.

    'Evening everyone!

I had a better day today, partly because it was my last day for a few weeks and OH just suggested a nice day out tomorrow. He said he wants to cheer me up and he hardly ever does stuff like that. I love days out but got to think mse and take lunch :)
We're going to St Teath near Camelford to a farm that we've stayed at before. They have a self catering cottage there which is really lovely and it's easy to get to Boscastle, Tintagel etc We do like to explore whilst we're there and St Ives sounds gorgeous (all those coupons :T ) a Victorian village and the Britain in the Blitz thingy is right up my street. Must look it up on the map. Thank you sooo much, it's lovely to get a bit of inside info :)

    Have a brill day!

Flambards is in Helston (where I grew up) which is about an hour and three quarters drive from Camelford! So make sure you really want to go before setting out :)

Eee, I could take this wrong way :rotfl:Jakes-mum, you have a low opinion of me, I am both shocked and appalled :D:naughty::D... Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
I have to tell you all but I shouldn't....The lovely DW found a sewing/crafty gadget at the thrift market, that I'd never seen before...I said, "ooo, what's that", looking rather pleased with herself, she said, "it's for darning". My face obviously looked a treat, so she explained it was for repairing and stitching up clothing. I said, " aahhh, like socks" (was pleased with myself for knowing about such crafty things), the wife smirked and carried on, "Yeah, socks, shirts, jackets, pantaloons, the cr*t*h on your boxers".,I nearly choked  . Even the old couple behind me, nearly choked on their tea, I heard a splutter :D:rotfl::D...Before you ask, my pantaloons are in a state of good repair. I think not I said, that's a bit too extreme for me :D.
Anyway as punishment for making the old couple splutter their tea, she's donated her change (shrapnel), for the pot :p.

Hope you've all had a good day potting :A

Thank you for posting this, it made me laugh for ages :rotfl:

Oh really, little_sweetie, whatever is the matter with you! I meant NOTES! As in £5ers, £10ers or even a £20! As if I'd talk about anything different on here! :A ;)

    Teeheehee...:rotfl:

Wow! Just noticed I've got a star too :T and jakes-mum you have an actual MEDAL ooh I'm jealous now

No potting today, folks, but at last I netted £10 from eBay sales, so tomorrow I'm determined to bank it instead of frittering it away on non essentials. It's also free listing again this weekend so the camera is charged and I'm making a note of places to search for saleable items. Note to DH: HIDE anything you are really fond of :rotfl:
Have a lovely evening everyone! x
