Hi potters
walking group today - but no roadkill
still managing to pot £6.03 today :j:j:j
have a good day everyoneEmma :hello:0 -
Morning pottersssssssssssssssss
Ive been SUCH a good girl today (worthy of a gold star me thinks :rotfl: :rotfl:) I have made a massive stew with what has to be half of my veggies and all the potatoes I had . . .so if Dh moans its not big enough this time im going to whack him over the head with the crock pot
Ive finally moved Miss Lilys birthday presents upstairs to her room AND not just bunged them on the floor but actually put them away, and put away the 3 piles of ironing that I seemed to be keeping on the stairs for the last 3 weeks  cleared all rooms of washing, DONE all washing, and given a half hearted attempt at finding the 7 missing mates of the socks congregating on the bookcase  just need to take the washing down the dryer and remember to go get it when it finishes so I can fold it straight up and put it away . . . was thinking of hoovering but am already feeling a bit icky from doing to much so think i'll leave that for monday
Need to go get some tatoes and gravy for my dinner (like stew HATE potatoes done in the slow cooker, got to be roasties!) so hopefully will have some pennies from the shop, and im going to cheat and send Jake in for me so I make sure I only buy the potatoes and gravy I needs :rotfl: no reduced section for me, I will beat my reduced sticker addiction!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

My sealed pot is a large pink pig ceramic piggy bank, with duct tape over the plastic plug underneath and a picture of a puppy stuck to the tape, so if I turn it upside down to raid it, I'll see a little face looking back at me, and hopefully I'll put it down again.
Ooh- a puppy! I'd love to have a dog, but in my little flat it'd be unfair.
Loving the idea of the picture over the plug too!Sealed pot challenger#1677

Afternoon Potterpeeps.
Well, after all my good intentions, my food shop didn't leave me with much change for my pot!I think it's because this week I needed more household items, cleaning stuff etc. So I've only managed to pot about £1.50 today.
I've got £10 left, and that normally goes to son for his weeks pocket money. Unless I find some roadkill etc I don't suppose I'll be able to pot any now until Wednesday of next week at the earliest! MOST FRUSTRATING! :wall:
Ohh well! At least I've made a start on my pot collecting though, so that's a good thing!! (slaps self for being a negative JJ)
Tizzi, hope your son is feeling ok today.xx
Have a splendiferous weekend all..
Oooo!!! I've just seen... I've got a star!!! :j How did I get that???0 -
£4.70 for the pot- change from the supermarket shop yesterday (bit of a skeleton shop as I'm trying to use up the stuff in my freezer. I dread to think of the value of the stuff in there).Sealed pot challenger#1677

saved £1.08 today by not buying a coffee to have with my butties, but spent 40p on chocolate from the chocolate fridge at work so I'll only be able to pot the difference. There are days when I NEEEEED a Mars Bar though and I've only had the one (so far) :rotfl:

Ahhh ty nu1isit, but why do I get the feeling thats me on one side, Sue-UU on the other and you in the middle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Eee, I could take this wrong way :rotfl:Jakes-mum, you have a low opinion of me, I am both shocked and appalled... Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
I have to tell you all but I shouldn't....The lovely DW found a sewing/crafty gadget at the thrift market, that I'd never seen before...I said, "ooo, what's that", looking rather pleased with herself, she said, "it's for darning". My face obviously looked a treat, so she explained it was for repairing and stitching up clothing. I said, " aahhh, like socks" (was pleased with myself for knowing about such crafty things), the wife smirked and carried on, "Yeah, socks, shirts, jackets, pantaloons, the cr*t*h on your boxers".,I nearly choked  . Even the old couple behind me, nearly choked on their tea, I heard a splutter:rotfl::D...Before you ask, my pantaloons are in a state of good repair. I think not I said, that's a bit too extreme for me
.
Anyway as punishment for making the old couple splutter their tea, she's donated her change (shrapnel), for the pot.
Hope you've all had a good day potting :A😇 Sealed Pot Challenge: Member No: 20: 2012 = £92.14; 2013 = £45.27; 2014 = £54.70; 2015 = ; 2016 = £70.38 2022 = £10.58 2023 = ???? 🍀 2023 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD 65/365 so far. 👾 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 🍀 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 20120 -
