You're most welcome to join us, maureenjscott (via PM), crimson.addict, 2012needstobemymoneyyear, AnneWorkman, Pudsey Mum, Snowflake75, sunflowa20 and katyboo123! It's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

    * Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much.

crimson.addict, you're most welcome to include your 20p coins with whatever you save!

blindtoast, you don't need to be exact with the amounts you put on, just a rough idea. It simply helps encourage us all. In answer to your question, yes, that's ok, no problem at all.

katyboo123, all the best with quitting smoking and there's help to be had here

    Well saved, nanto3girls. :)

I feel the exact same way, RedGoose, the feel and jingle of our cash is what makes this SPC so very special, far better than just taking bits of paper or a cheque to the bank. :j

Keep it up, kerri, you'll soon have saved a mint from them there bankers! :D

    Marvellous news, saffythecat!!!:T

Are we competing then, moneybear123 and RedGoose, because I have 6 NSDs a week!!!!! :(

I'm a bit worried about the amount in my SP hanging about the house, DH & DD are nagging me, saying if we're burgled, it's all gone. Would it be all right to put it in a bank account every so often as long as I add it to my sig? I was thinking of maybe opening an ISA with it, if it's in the ordinary account, it will get used.

Of course it's ok, Modesty, many have done so for a long time, so please give the family and yourself peace of mind. :grinheart

    Excellent work, fingersxed!!! :D

WOW, that is terrific, Elmo!!!! :T

That's wonderful news, DorsetGirl, could you please pop the banked amount on your siggy? i.e.140/750. Thanks a lot.

  • :D Hi. I would love to join if possible.

Due to health reasons I don't get out much so tend to do a lot of online shopping. I've decided to save the change from that (like if I was in a shop). I should be able to work out roughly what I have spent so far this year :o

Not quite sure what I will use the money for but will be interesting to see how much I can save.

Congratulations on Jakes-dad getting job, good times :j...
Hope work picks up for you soon samtoby, have a few of these :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:...Maybe next week will be better :D.

Had a quick clear round/clear out in the kitchen, for the lovely DW today. She’s a bit ropey with the M.E. this week, so I’m going to work my way around the house (this next fortnight), with an even steelier determination...We were meant to be de-cluttering, passing on and selling things and cutting things back to a bare minimum; hopefully it’ll make life a little easier for us.
On a good note, captured 76 pennies from an old cup, the sneaky so and so's were hiding in there...

Hope you've all had a good day potting .
